Hey guys. I texted a provider and exchanged a couple of text and the last one he said he was having a family situation and would be back in touch. Have not heard back and his RM ad indicates he has not been online since Oct 23. Should I wait until I see his back or text again? Hate to bother him if he has problems but I have heard nothing but good things and would like to meet.

I would send him a text that goes something like this:

 

"Hey [name of escort] its [my name]. Checking in to see if things are OK and we could get together. Hope all is well with you."

 

And leave it at that.

To be honest, this ran through my mind as I was typing the post about a "check-in" text. Were I to do the check-in it would be one time only. Then no more texts.

Oh yeah, I guess I was assuming that I would have sent an immediate reply, to say something like 'I understand, I hope everything works out and I'll be here when you get back to me", so an additional text would be on top of that.

I wouldn't even say that. I would leave it at a short message saying I hope the situation is clearing up and you're doing well. He already knows you want to get together. Repeating that might seem pushy.

That’s why I asked when he last heard. If it had been a day, I think you leave it alone because maybe the situation hasn’t sorted itself out yet. If it’s been a week or two, a follow up check in text is totally valid.

I’d relax. While I empathize for the eager and horny (eye roll), I’d be a little pissed if I really was having a situation and hadn’t been online and you were texting me again to schedule an arrangement. While we, the providers, are advertising and I know it’s hard to look past cock on a screen...we are human and we do have shit going on.
