OJ is coming out with a book and doing a tv interview. Supposedly in the book, he takes the position of "I didn't do it but if I did, how would I have done it?"

The TV interview will be on Fox and I am sure it will be "fair and balanced".

I wish I could say that I would definitely avoid both, but I am thinking I will get sucked into the vortex of this media whirlpool.

Any thoughts?

It was covered on NBC this morning. Dan Abrams (who also covered both the murder trial and the civil trial) said "it's just OJ being OJ".

The implication was that it was just a media #### being a media ####.

I will ignore the whole thing. I'm still waiting for the result of the massive investigation OJ was supposedly mounting to find the "real" murderer. (I can't put my toung any further in cheek.)

I probably will watch the TV shit if for nothing else than it's plain entertainment value.

But I would never in a million years buy the book. Put 10 cents into his pocket? Never!

I really wonder how many people will shell out bucks for that trash. I hope people leave it gathering dust on the shelves and that the publisher looses zillions.

Ron Goldman's family has never been able to collect on the multi-million dollar judgement the received in civil court. I truly hope there is some way they can seize whatever profits he may get from this.

RE: OJ - O'Lielly

O’Reilly Blasts O.J. Interview, Falsely Claims ‘Fox Broadcasting Has Nothing To Do with Fox News’

Last night, Fox News host Bill O’Reilly blasted Fox for its upcoming interview with O.J. Simpson, in which the former NFL star describes “how he would have murdered his ex-wife and her companion.” O’Reilly calls it “a low point in American culture” but notes “Fox Broadcasting has nothing to do with the Fox News Channel.”

Actually, Fox Broadcasting is tightly connected to Fox News. Radar has the details:

– “Fox News Channel chief Roger Ailes…also chairs Fox Television Stations, the group behind the forthcoming” special on OJ.

– “Fox Broadcasting and the Fox News Channel are both owned by…News Corp. founder and chief Rupert Murdoch.”

– “Fox Broadcasting Corporation–the people who program prime time for the Fox network–regularly air Fox News-produced programming” including “O’Reilly’s special “documentaries” about people who hate children and Jesus
