This is a study by the University of Georgia: https://www.psychologytoday.com/files/u47/Henry_et_al.pdf . According to this paper, university men who identified as "homophobic" experienced more arousal when watching gay porn than a control group of men who did not identify as homophobic.

There is homophobia even amongst Millennials, we do not need a scientific study to know that. The situation is much improved, but there is still work to do.

 

Interesting study, although no one should be surprised. We always knew that the only thing that could explain the need to reject others' homosexuality was the need to reject your own.
