Always nice to hear about a porn star that went on to a fulfilling and successful life beyond porn. So many people... too many people, seem to assume that escorts and porn stars will have no life as their careers come to and end.

The Italians are a very odd group (I am Italian). On the one hand they are very strictly Catholic with all that entails but on the other they have this "live and let live" philosophy so that it didn't cause all that much of a stir to have an male ex-porn star who lived with his male ex-porn star teach at one of their universities. The couple must be doing pretty well because they live in a $600,000 condo in downtown Rome.

The Italians are a very odd group (I am Italian). I honestly find Italians (I am Italian born and raised) much much less "religious" than Americans. Even if the Vatican is very powerful, it doesn't influence politics at all like here, in Italy Church and State are totally separated from 1929.

Yes, mainly many of older generations go to church every Sunday (especially in the South, much more religious than the North of Italy) but most don't give a damn.

And yes, here in the US it would be unimaginable for a porn star who teaches at a prestigious University to be exposed of his past as a porn star and keep his job!

I'd argue that the Catholic Church has very little influence on American politics, much like in Italy. Other sects, however...

Years ago, I met both of them (together) in Buenos Aires. I was introduced by a mutual friend and I didn’t know at that time that they did porn. They were pleasant enough but I found them physically unattractive. Both had taken steroids and were very bulky, almost square in shape as neither is tall.
