I'd recommend YOU take a hiatus. I'm serving myself very well. Thank you.

TB;

Thank you for proving me correct. Your statements speak for themselves. I just can't imagine why you are lonely!

It is interesting that as you attempted to respond to my observations and suggestions, you make huge assumptions about things that I did not say. This techniques of putting words into an opponents mouth and then arguing against what was NOT said is a typical strategy of Hannity, Limbaugh, O'Reilly, et al.

Yes, I do beleive that Log Cabin Republicans are self-loathing. And I know many of them.

Well, TB, you certainly deserve to be lonely! Enjoy.

Tiredness and Fatigue after age 25 confused with Depression!

I could write volumes or better speak for hours on the case for a PHYSICAL basis for 'Depression' that occures with AGING.

The turning point at which most people feel tiredness and easy fatigue is approximately ages 25-30, earlier for women then men. And it is VERY common. The easiest way to determine this is answering two questions.

1. Do you wake up tired after a good nights sleep?

2. Do you get sleepy in the afternoon?

Additional questioning, especially for women:

3. Are you colder then other people?

4. Do you have dry skin or brittle hair?

Unfortunately, many patients have what the Dr calls State of the Art blood tests for Thyroid Defiency, but the normal values are TOO low and most test results come out in the lower normal of range, so the Dr is fearful of trying a beginning dose of thyroid, since it is no longer the standard of the community. Then he says it is your diet or your job or home stress. Most often in THIS day and age, ANTIdepressents are prescribed, even though NO ONE has an anti-depressant defiency and there are NO blood tests to prove it.

Heart attacks, Strokes, Circulatory Diseases, Blindness in Diabetics can be PREVENTED and REVERSED with a little innocuous thyroid supplementation and NATURAL Multiple B Vitamins!

This is the basis of real ANTI-AGING MEDICINE! Only pennies a day for the combinations verses thousands $$ for prescriptions, which have more side-effects then desired effects.

Many Depressed people have a deficient metabolism, that is NOT BEING TREATED! Yes, some do not have enough energy to exercise, so that is not the first avenue to getting better. Improving the diet will have only limited results! It is amazing what results, that a beginning dose of ONE to TWO grain of NATURAL thyroid will Have in getting a person back to enjoying and participating in life without the NEGATIVITY of the DEPRESSION associated with Hypothyroidism or Euthyroid Hypometabolism! Thyroid is an essential component as a CATALYST to all the biochemical reactions in the body, which total well over 3000. This is necessary for proper Nerve, Brain, and muscle function! DHEA is another supplement necessary to supplement as the body's HORMONE levels decrease with AGE starting at the average age of 25, and gets each year till the senior or mature male is barely participating in life.

There is much more evidence and research available for on Optimum program without spending a fortune on an Anti-Aging specialist Physican.

I hope this helps explain why so many get little results from their physician. Before Companies marketed their blood tests in a big way, that are so misleading, many of the OLDER Physicians knew this.

The current breed of youner Drs, that some cherish here, are not so clinically orientated without depending solely on blood test, xrays, etc.

It's Saturday night and all I have is a date with the televison and an extra-value meal. This has been my life for months. I wish there was more than spending all my time online and buying love by the hour. Even that is hard-to-do living in south-east Michigan.

Well don't come to San Francisco, we have just outlawed the Happy Meal TBLover.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – San Francisco has become the first major U.S. city to pass a law that cracks down on the popular practice of giving away free toys with unhealthy restaurant meals for children.

San Francisco's Board of Supervisors passed the law on Tuesday on a veto-proof 8-to-3 vote. It takes effect on December 1.

The law, like an ordinance passed earlier this year in nearby Santa Clara County, would require that restaurant kids' meals meet certain nutritional standards before they could be sold with toys.

Opponents of the law include the National Restaurant Association and McDonald's Corp, which used its now wildly popular Happy Meal to pioneer the use of free toys to market directly to children.

gee, glutes.....did you remember this thread from more than four years ago just because of its obscure value-meal reference??!!.....good work!

I am really, REALLY impressed with that trick, Glutes. Damn, I'm so old I can't remember what I had for dinner. Or maybe I haven't eaten yet. I forget.

Ah, the old days....

So this is what we have been missing..... how the Forum has changed....

Got to admit it was pretty fucking lively... but not all that pretty.

Guess we can't have to both ways, boys.

Pick your poisons?

Lets see... I get up at the crack of noon and I read my email. It's kind of weird, I send one out and I tend to get one back eventually.

I wander around the internet and find the pieces of information that other people might enjoy reading. I then tend to go out with my business partner and we chew on the news and spread our take on it through out the community.

Later in the afternoon, I turn voyeur and peek into various peoples lives vicariously looking for the special moments that make life so sweet.

Another Day, Another Coverboy, and Another persons day made just "That much" better. Now I'm going to take a cute guy over to the casino and show him how to win at Blackjack.

I believe that what I'm telling you is that it doesn't matter what you do, it only matters that you do it.

Find somebody, anybody and do something to make them smile. Extra points if you can make them laugh. Triple points if you can get them to pass it along to somebody else.

p.s. When you make it to Chicago; Invite Greg out for coffee. Then give him a nice kiss for me and tell him it's from Daddy. You can have the 2nd one! You'll do fine!

Just wondering what some of you do to combat extreme lonliness? Sometimes it seems I wake up, get showered and dressed up all for nothing.

Even my so-called "friends" have been disappointing. I know I'm not a model or anything, but being gay really sucks when you're living life all alone.

This is one reason for the popularity of gay bars. You don't have to hang out every night, but perhaps once a week will help. Remember, most any one there is also there to meet someone, not necessarily for sex, but just for some conversation.

Also, I suggest you go to a gym several times a week. Work out with the weights. You don't need to go heavy and you will feel better for it immediately and you will be around people.
