Any Idea What's Happening With the Reviews?

I'm hoping that Deej or someone else may be able to provide an opinion about the previously-published reviews. What's going to happen to them? Could they migrate to the new site or are they forever the property of the estate?

 

I also submitted a review just before the site went down. Since that hasn't been published yet, is it in queue for the new site?

 

I know that I could always e-mail Daddy but I'm sure he has a lot of other more pressing issues. Just wondering if someone "in the know" could offer an opinion.

 

In the past, I've used the reviews on the M4M site extensively before I decide to hire. Would love to see the old stuff transferred to the new site.

The best I can give you is a somewhat maybe sorta informed opinion, without being privvy to the hourly machinations of the estate and the lawyers. In other words, anything I say may be wrong before I get it out, or it may have changed by the time you read it.

1. Pretty much everything that was up before the site went down should come back up, eventually. (Hey, a girl needs her sleep! ;-))

 

2. Scott Adler's reviews will be the first to come back online.

 

3. The queue lives (and is yearning to breathe free).

 

OK, I was kidding about one of those.

 

Daddy has talked often and with many people about "Hooboy Archives" which would cover the older reviews. Availability of those will depend on the largesse of the Estate and I think we're all fairly well aware that they're a little cranky right now.

Seriously, thanks for the info. Sounds like there is hope that some of the reviews will survive and I'm grateful the queue still lives.

 

As for Scott Adler's reviews, I can only hope that when his are posted you use his Easter Bunny picture. That one was really cute!!

I actually saw him perform with Tim Conway recently. It was like 2 hours of the old Carol Burnett show without Carol, Vicki, or Lyle. (or commercials)

 

I've never heard a concert hall sound more like a cancer ward. People were laughing so hard they were coughing up lungs, even though we heard the jokes and saw the skits 20 years ago.

Darn, now I wish we had gone to see them when they were here recently at the venue formerly known as the Westbury Music Fair. Btw, I don't get the rabbit reference...is that from the Jefferson Airplane song about the pill that makes you larger and the pill that makes you small? I know rock and television; that's about it...

Fortunately, it looks like some past reviews have been preserved but I'm not sure how accurate the count will be. (Will some escorts still show up with 50+ reviews?) So, I guess I'll just have to keep hiring and submitting regular reviews. }(

 

Now, if we all did that we'd quickly get the data base built back up and again provide a meaningful resource.
