I've looked up the sex risk of swallowing cum on the Center for Desease Control and Local Gay Community Associations. There's some information there of what the risk is of swalling cum, either 7% from the CDC or 1 out of 1000 for local community associations. But I'm trying to find out what the risk is if you let it land like on someones face or chest or crack and balls and then lick it up. So, if it's exposed to air and room temperature and then lands somewhere and then you lick it up does it still have some risk?

Who's cum are you talking about? It's always safe to lick up YOUR OWN cum. (The exception would be licking it off a break in the skin, of course.)

It's risky to your partner if they have cuts or other breaks in the skin, but you can always lick up your own cum. It's one of Chi Chi LaRue's standard "shots" (pun not intended), but she'll tell the recipient of the "shot" not to shave the day of the shoot.

The bottom line is there is always risk when exchanging body fluids. Always. Eating cum is a smaller risk, but there is still risk. Some porn studios (such as Raging Stallion) are now filming cum eating. The models sign the same release they always have, absolving the studio of any responsibility.

If you want someone to cum on your chest and then lick it up yourself, you're more of a contortionist than most. ;-)

Someone correct me if there is newer information, but I was taught years ago that the virus cannot survive outside the body for more than a few minutes (I think temperature is the important variable here), so as long as you don't scarf up the cum immediately, it shouldn't be dangerous; of course, cold, dried cum is not very appealing (my apologies to Hawk for even mentioning such a possibility).

That is what I have heard in the past too. These nasty slogans just pop into my head really, since I'm workin' on my own porn portal. So I just like ta pick some brains. I don't really want ta use it if it's not true and I don't have a authoritative link to reference.

If we grease the skids, it might help it gain speed......

Have to say that that's one of the things I miss most about the good old days when I could savor it as the guy shot his load in my mouth.

Saw a scene in a porno that showed four guys lined up "chocking their chickens." Each guy shot into a shot glass and then scoffed down their own loads of jizz. Very hot in my book.

I always enjoy showing what a pig I am. :9 :9 :9 :9

It's great on oatmeal or in your morning coffee. I even squirt it on toast occasionally with a little jelly. Yum.

I love to swallow. To feel the hit on the back of my throat. To slurp and slop the spent cock in and around my mouth . ..:D Its loyalty, trust, true love, a special passion . ..

I bet if the initial writer of this thread had done an in-depth retrieval of information that's lingering in the archives of this site that he would have found a plethora of information! This is NOT written to state that he never should have broached the topic again! :-)

I searched a lot on here and on the web, and couldn't find anything about cum exposed to air. I'm would like to find authoritative links from health information web sites.

Some (I believe three, at least one of which is ongoing) recent studies (and I don't have sources handy) have taken a look specifically at the risk of HIV infection by oral sex. Included in the studies are several serodiscordant couples (meaning one partner who's HIV+ and the other who's HIV-). And several of the partners in the study (including serodiscordant ones) do swallow semen. In all of the studies, not even one new case of HIV has been reported, and some have been going on for a few years now (though the sample size isn't huge, I believe it is a few hundred men, so this is a pretty interesting study). That puts the risk of swallowing semen, for HIV, to be very, very, very low, but not zero. There are a FEW isolated case reports (outside of these controlled studies) where people claim to have been infected by giving oral sex (but even some of those may have questions).

I think if it lands on someone's body first,, etc., if anything it'd be even less risk, though I doubt HIV would die THAT fast. (It's a pretty fragile virus and can't live outside the body for long, but I don't know a specific time).

Bottom line from what I've read is, if you have a healthy mouth (obviously I wouldn't recommend it if you have open wounds, bleeding gums, etc.), the risk of getting HIV through oral sex is very, very low. Risk of other STD's is significantly higher (though with regular STD/STI checkups, most of those are curable, though obviously unpleasant).

It all comes down to gathering the information and making a responsible decision for yourself what safer sex is. For me, I do suck and swallow without a condom and have no problem with tasting cum, but all anal sex involves a condom every time, and I test regularly for everything. I'm comfy with that level of risk and feel I'll stay clean and disease free this way, but ALL sex has some degree of risk.

As far as resources, especially for HIV (I'm interested in STD's, etc., so I've researched this a lot), my favorite is AIDSmeds.com - there's a great lessons section and a great "Am I Infected" forum for people with questions about how the disease is spread and knowledgeable experts who really know what they're talking about. TheBody.com is also good, and so is the San Francisco City Clinic (http://www.dph.sf.ca.us/sfcityclinic/).

In addition, this is just my personal opinion, but I don't really trust the CDC or anything they say. Politics comes into play a lot with them in my opinion, and a lot of their information is just plain outdated/not supported by science/conservative. (For example, there are ZERO cases of HIV transmission from GETTING a blowjob even though there may be a theoretical risk, but the CDC still advises testing, etc.)
