It seems that the escort listings on craigslist is rather, eh, explict about asking money for sex. Isn't it illegal?

 

What's your experience with craigslist ads? How to avoid scam/police?

Sorry to bump this thread, but I am surprised to read ads on craigslist like "$75 Oral 150 Bottom" which is very common there. Any take?

Every once in a while there's a rumor of a bust on CL, but from what I've heard those are mostly drug related.

 

But one of these days there will be a crackdown, examples made, so always remember to make clear--no mater what the other party's offering, that you are ONLY paying for thier time.

I am just curious why craigslist is not shut down for this reason. It is like someone advertises illegal substances on a website.

The article goes on to say that Nassau County police routinely monitor Craigslist and arrested five people accused of using it to advertise prostitution. Under federal law, Craigslist isn't liable for what appears on it's site, however, it has long been criticized for allowing unmonitored, and, in some cases, illegal ads to be posted. Illegal sex-for-money ads have been accompanied by lewd or sexually explicit language and pictures.

Why would cops in "San Berdooo" (a/k/a San Bernardino) be interested in what goes on in Palm Springs? First, Palm Springs is an incorporated city with its own police department, and second, it's in Riverside County, not San Bernardino.

Craig's list.... recommendation: great for the bargain hunter for the "do anything boi" with ony a small effort necessary to get past the grinding teeth and picking of tweeker scabs. Nothing says says "HOT!" like a boi with an uncontrolable drug habit who can't perform. Alternatively you can find some of these guys in dark street alleys and shadier parts of town if you want to get them for half the price they list for on Craig's list. Be sure to ask them for a "preferred Client Coupon" redeemable at the local clinic. Check your local post office for their reviews.

I've hooked up with several "boys" from CraigsList, and NONE of them have been the druggies that your statement implies that they are!

 

Every single one of them, have just been young men looking for some quick money, often at 1/3 to 1/2 of the price of the advertised escorts.

 

Why? Because "escorting" isn't their main source of income, and as such, most are "greatful" to be hired, and as such "many" of them get off on it, especially the straight boys.

 

I've also seen many "advertised" escorts on CL who were asking much less via CL than on their ad sites (never hired them, as I suspect that they were slumming and that the experience would be just that).

 

I have NEVER had a bad experience with anyone that I've hooked up with on CL. In fact, a CL boy is one of the few escorts that I've hired multiple times (still do) as he was all that he advertised as being, and wtf, 1/3 the price of the advertised, reviewed boys!!

 

BTW: NEVER had a "boy" from CL that wasn't able to "perform"! Wish I could say that about all the "advertised, reviewed boys" I've hired, at 3 times the price!!! :7

It's the desperation factor that I recommend caution~~~ and by str9t boi do you mean str8t to bed??? I say this with humor and not mal content.

Again... the listing less on CL indicates a red flag for me... Horror stories from various Client sources justify my fears and only substantiate my objective curiocities about advertizing there.

Percentage wise... the "desperate cash for sex" factor outweighs the "professional service" prodigm on CL. I don't presume to say that everyone on CL is disreputable... I do consider that there may be a higher percentage of unsavory hirees that one might want to re-think the value. Stories I have heard include topics of: "He physically threatened me", "He was really high when he arrived", "He could not perform", "He seemed really out of it", "It was someone else's pix", "He verbally lambasted me when I told him he did not meet my expectations". Those are not my judgements but others who have hired. I simply suggest more caution there. Again, percentage wise... I think you may inevitably find more reason for caution on CL then on M4R or HB or RB. That's been a collaborative formation of opinion and not simply my strictly biased personal one. I had considered it at one time by recommendation of one client and then watched over time and inquired about it and decided strongly against representing myself there. I support a different view of Escorting and do not embrace the idea that it is a strictly sexual encounter. Masterbation can get you the same satisfaction but the connection between two people on a all levels, (physical, emotional, psychological, spiritual even), involves a different kind of personal investment,(not even talking about monitary), then "I need $150 bucks for rent, what kind of sex you looking for". There is a difference between "sex" and "Intimacy"... There is a difference between an "Escort" and a prostitute. A CL hiree can provide a hot sexual encounter but in the long run of your life, what will you want to have had?

Again, my heaviness here is in part due to my own personal premise and pledge to Escorting, (from the original context of the male Geisha). While sex for sex sake is fun and "Hot", it can be incredibly more valuable in the longer scope of Life when content and context is part of the expereince. I don't see that consideration in many of the CL hirees... I see and hear that it is a matter of "I need some quick cash, you horny now?"

I apologize if I am completely erronious in this matter. My opinion is of course open to re-education and subject to change if I am wrong. I have the capacity and willingness to learn.

I have recently learned that Crystal users now take what is know as "trail mix": a combo of Crystal, Viagra and Viread, (an antiviral they use as profilactic against HIV), so that they can be high and maintain an erection as well as take some precaution against HIV. On the other hand I question the wiseness of this since it is simply "Monotherapy against HIV and seems to suggest the potential for the development of a clad of HIV that is resistant to an entire class of HIV meds that don't have the negative side effects that the stronger meds have such as the protease inhibitors. Your protectiveness of CL seems strong. So, I consider that it may be a valid venue. I am open to hear how CL is a better option.

I don't think the average guy would describe me as hot. I think what makes anyone Hot - is the attitude they have towards sex and a willingness to please their partner.
