I'll be in the USA on the above dates. Taking appointments in Los Angeles and Palm Springs (the weeks before Sept 1st), and Toronto (the weeks after Sept 5th). But - I'm unsure where to go during those first five days of September.

 

Can you help? Proximity in the SoCal region leads me to consider Vegas or Phoenix or San Diego. If someone wants me in any of those locales, PM me please, ASAP - that will help my decision. Alternatively, somewhere else, let me know. And if you wanna spend multiple days together anywhere, please contact me, as well

I thought that this forum was for escorts to post specific travel cities on specific dates.....If an escort is seeking advice or asking questions about where to go (or if an escort is trolling for biz as he apparently is doing), this post might be more suitable in either the Lounge or in the Deli (or part of his inquiry directed into the "Ask an Escort" forum).....

I might be wrong but that's the strong impression that admin relates as the rules of this particular forum....

Anyway, at what age or after which experience or after what achievement did this guy regard himself as "Legendary" ??....Did he declare that himself or did a client first refer to him as such......I know nothing about the guy.....just curious.

what is the bloody difference between me posting three locales for the dates when I'll be traveling, and asking people for their insight for those three locales? and yeah, sure, some people have contacted me about going to some of the locales. which, if you think about it, is the original point of the Escort Travels thread.

I still think this warrants a conversation. because the fact is escorts, crunched by both laws and social stigma, are unable to advertise their services in the same ways as other professions. our options are pretty limited. we can be on escort websites, or in-print (often in lgbt rags or the backs of porn mags), but those options have been diminishing over the last few years: think of the charges against rentboy in 2015, the demise of backpage and craigslist’s personals over these past 12 months, and the more recent enactment of fosta and sesta in the united states.

 

so, how else can escorts advertise? one way is by hanging out on the street - which has its own set of complications. another is by acting as a hustler in a bar, which can also be quite problematic.

 

but a forum, where escorts can discuss their services, and people can interact with the escorts? that seems like a great way for working guys to peddle themselves! alas, this message-forum has so much potential, but as we've all seen, forums allow some to spend their time writing negative non-face-to-face comments. like everything else on the internet, it runs the risk of people writing comments they would never actually say to a person’s face. in other words, it’s easy to be rude about a person’s forum post. it strikes me, though, as either being mean, or not doing the harder work to think things through.

 

if you want to ask about my moniker, wklucas, that’s fine (and it’s been written about a few times before). I’ll post an explanation for you in another thread - maybe in the Lounge, I guess. but the other stuff you mention - worrying about the exact location on the forum for my upcoming travel, or saying I’m trolling - well, it makes it seem like you want to derail my post. and yes, I’ll admit it - that post was to sell my services. what is so wrong with an escort selling his services this way??? I’m getting the word out that I can be in those locations. The Lounge is listed as “a place to gather and exchange ideas” - but usually it's not ideas about escorts in particular. The Deli is “an area to discuss escorts” - doesn't seem like a place for an escort to post his travel options. Escort Travels is “an area for escorts to list their travel plans” - which is what I’m doing. emphasis on plans.

 

I'm feeling a little like I'm on a college campus with a hypersensitive millenial up in arms over communication. the irony is, over the years reading this forum, I’ve read so many client posters who lament that escorts don’t chime in here and write. well, I can’t speak for everyone, but - this is one reason why I limit my own input here. I suspect you're a nice guy, wklucas... please, relax and let this be a place for everyone. I’m just trying to sell my time. sure, it’s a little different than the way others do things. I guess I’m not your typical escort - and perhaps that’s not what you’re seeking. no problem... live and let live, eh?

I know that "fishing" has a negative connotation in other contexts, but in this particular one I think it is perfectly legitimate.

 

In other threads other forum members criticized, for instance, Alam Wernick for advertising visits to multiple cities with a confusing schedule. I think it is a perfectly legitimate way to research the market and survey for interest.

sooooo, I'm not at all understanding by simply questioning when an escort is "breaking" the fairly implicit rules - how or why that can be thought of as "bitching"...…

I also fail to understand why an escort's interpretation of what he thinks he can & should post takes precedence over the direct missives of Admin...…(in his deleted post, he mentioned that he thought it fine to post inquiries about where to go on this particular forum instead of already arranged & decided specific travel plans)

Anyway, a few months ago when this same escort was traveling around the States - he was making 5, 6, or 7 posts for the very same trip.....kind of like as a reminder to folks.....

Can you imagine or would you even want every escort making 7 separate posts for the exact same travel plans ?

When I saw those multiple posts, I thought to myself "stupid" but kept my thoughts to myself....

Anyway, of course I agree with the guy - we're all here to help each other whenever & however possible.....but this Travel forum also has certain rules laid out by Admin for a reason.....those rules should be both followed / adhered to......& respected.
