This pisses me off. I have spent over 21,000 advertising with them since 2012. They won't answer emails ( I sent 4) I even called the owner and he did not call back or text. ( I am a photographer so I used my contacts to get his info)

I am going to cancel this months charge. I even searched police dispatches for any news regarding raids ECT.. Nothing showed up...

I personally do not escort, I also don't want my picture showing up with a bunch of dicks.. Thats why I stuck with massagem4m and Massurefinder.

I just got charged too yesterday, 270 bucks for what? Big bummer but it is easy to call the bank and as long as your payment has a Visa or MasterCard logo it's very easy to dispute. The original visa and MasterCard agreements state that if you're ever dissatified with a purchase in any way you just have to call the bank and dispute charge and they have to credit the funds back to your account, even if they ask some inane questions along the way they will eventually do it as it is required by law. I hope they can fix the site, however as they have a great available now system... When the site is working, of course

So you just charged me a few days and decided to keep my money; You shut off the phone lines for customer service, Stopped responding to emails and calls.

Time to call the CC company and dispute the charge. Let them fight to get your money back. IT is all pretty shitty and sure the truth will surface soon enough. Good luck sir! - XX

Only 3 possibilities:

1) They are working on the site and it will be back up (and better, I hope) than before.

2) They are going out of business, and are in the process of shutting down.

3) The owner of the site (Ernie) sold the site to someone else and they are in a transition.

With all that has been said here, and observing over the past few days......I bet my money on #2.

If it is #1, #2 or #3, their communication skills to clients and masseurs about what is going on sucks.

Honestly dude, Instagram has been a great tool for me lately. It's free, you can post personal blog-type content (along with holistic info, selfies, etc) and it's free! Have gotten a few clients lately from it and it's easy to include your MasseurFinder link (or other profile) at the top of your profile. Not sure if you're on IG but add me if you are - @Jameslamassage - and don't worry you'll get your $$ back, I'm going to call my bank right now and get mine back...will post an update once I finish talking to the bank rep

Done...bank says $$ will be credited back to my account in the next 12 hours. Since M4M is not answering any phone calls or emails there's no way they'll go through the paperwork to dispute my claim that they charged my card on June 21 while shutting down my profile and having no intentions of providing their service or fixing their site. And even if they did, it would be an exercise in futility for them as the bank would still side with me. Understanding the strength of the original Visa and MasterCard agreements, especially in the world of online business, is crucial when talking to the bank rep - but ultimately if you articulate the problem well enough they'll understand and it's pretty easy from there.

Has anyone ever gotten a bank to side with them in these disputes?? They take the charge off, give the seller so many days to respond, which can be something as simple as a copy of the bill, and then recharge you. It's theater.

A few years ago I had a $1200 charge from a tattoo parlor in Hawaii placed 10 minutes after I was buying gasoline in Virginia (no fraud alert !?!). They withdrew the charge while in dispute. A month later they recharged me saying the business had provided a copy of the bill. I filed in Small Claims Court and they agreed to take it off.

If you're in the same state, Small Claims Court is often a small fee alternative that gets results.

Absolutely, I have always gotten the bank to side with me on disputes like this. Small Claims court not necessary - as long as your method of payment was a Visa or MasterCard or other major bank. I had a $700 charge reversed one time, it's very simple:

You call the bank phone number on the back of your card, ask to dispute a charge, tell the bank rep the day/dollar amount/company that fraudulently/incorrectly charged you, and once they have all the info they should credit your account in 12-24 hours. Then, the business has 30 days (IIRC) to submit paperwork stating that you agreed to be charged/paid for the service, etc. At any point in those 30 days, your bank may take the money back out of your account if they determine the charge was not incorrect or fraudulent in any way. The business has to submit a substantial amount of paperwork on their own behalf in order to prove this and get the bank to side with them. But even if that happens, you can just call the bank again and dispute it again. But generally, if you're in the "right" - you'll get your money back in 24 hours, a letter in the mail, and the bank may want to issue you a new card so that you don't get charged from the same company (or someone else fraudulent) in the future.

Multiple times I’ve had the bank side with me...debit, credit, and once stolen checks.

That sucks! Sorry about that

It's now 1:11 pm, EDT on Friday, and M4M site is not available on my home computer. I gather that, over the last few days, it was on, then off, then on.....

Not much of a loss, since they stopped giving useful information about the masseurs. But of some value, even in its emasculated state.

Just checked, I am still getting their webpage, but clicking on any of the links takes me to an error page.

Site is completely down.

I just called the owner. What a pos he kept charging people and then closes the site...

Sorry, Daniel.

I'm sad, as this was the very first site I used to book a massage almost 10 years ago. That said, it is a shitty thing to charge people while shutting down the site.

Hope Masseurfinder stays alive.

I kinda soured on the site and it’s owner(s) when they went the paid photo thing.

Not just from my side as a possible client, buying credits etc. to view advertiser’s pics, eventually leading to “lockedphotos.com” But a few provider/advertisers were telling me about the pressure out on them to add more risqué/nude photos to build traffic. Something about the whole process smelled fishy to me...after talking to a few providers I quit buying credits for the pics...and stopped using the site as it’s ultimate decline started a LONG time ago.

My sympathies and empathy to those who got ripped off by the unscrupulous owners.

Massagem4m has been shutdown and their new App they were testing, BodyButler has been completely shutdown and removed from all App Stores. I’d strongly encourage you all to take a glance through masseurfinder and start saving some contact numbers with masseur pics as that site is likely only going to exist for a short amount of time.
