Most of the escorts I hire are travelers. I keep in contact and when their usual cycle to come to NYC is near, I will ask when they are coming to town. Yes that is the issue but it is more of an issue that I am told I would be the first to know when a two to three week visit is going to occur. While I know that is hyperbole, I believe if you are going to make that kind of statement, then there should be a bit of flexibility in the times offered. Otherwise just say, I will let you know with no hint of priority. I am asking if priority scheduling should be expected if you are told you will be the first to know?

I take it you must be near a train station... Most people visiting NYC don’t rent cars... Of course, maybe that explains why you’re not the first to know, regardless of what the escort says. And yes, I think it’s rude to tell you that you’ll be the first to know and then say “sorry!”. Not all escorts are super scrupulous—what can I say!

I would think you should expect priority especially since you are doing an overnight but that assumes that no one else is booking that long of a time or even longer

Maybe he has other things, not escort-related, planned? One of my favorites is from out of town, he comes in to visit family, and I'm fairly confident I'm among the first to know, but scheduling around his family events can be difficult.

That’s how I see this as well. I just ask the guy to give me as much advance notice as possible. Some will give a longer notice of a few weeks but that’s pretty rare. Others have given about a week’s notice. If it works for our schedules and my budget then it’s fine.
