  1. It's good that you are trying to set up another fun session. And whether it's justified or not, once bad feelings creep into one of these business relationships, it's best to move on and never turn back. Enticing, efficient, exceptional communications are becoming rare. It's one of the reasons I may pull the plug on this hobby in the near future. I am slowly losing interest because the pursuit has become too dull....in many cases. In years past, the chase was part of the fun. Now, not so much......
  2. I prefer some play time before eating, because a big meal introduces the risk that the post-dindin romp will be marred by lethargy and nappy feelings.
  3. I may locate 2 or 3 tiny houses in strategic locales around the world, as places to vacation, retire, or escape if I have to pull the rip cord one day. HAHA! A shipping container is one option on how to do that.
  4. Those questions are becoming more common. Young providers are bringing their grindr game(s) onto the RM platform.
  5. Yep. 1-800-RENT-MEN
  6. It's a less than pristine bath house, but in a pinch, you can get a room there for play time if you need it.
  7. Almost the entire Houston Astros roster makes me weak.
  8. Rent a room at Flex. The rooms with the bigger beds are approx. 50, plus the daily membership fee ($5 I think). You have access to the room for up to 8 hours.
  9. I will add one more comment to explain the context of my thoughts about fees. This kind of rate structure is likely a money loser for an established pro. Some forum watchers may not know that I rarely hire well-repped pros anymore. I'm one of the clients who is willing to take chances on newbies with no established cred. We're the clients who allow the rest of yall to hire securely and comfortably. HAHA! That's what I mean when I talk about risk-reward in the discussion above. My risk level (of a dud meeting) is much higher than the client who trods the path of the review site. So, I think setting rates in this way is more appropriate for newbies until they have established a reputation for excellence, at which point they will likely raise their rates when demand increases. It's supply and demand, baby; I do love capitalism in spite of the fact that almost every provider raises his rates after we meet!
  10. If it's 2 or 3 nights, then I ensure the companion knows it's cool to take time to check his biz contacts, and on the middle day, that he's free to enjoy some down time in the gym if he would like. I always try to ask a companion if there is something he would like to do while we are together to give him an opportunity to guide our social intercourse. If the meeting is more than 3 days, I insist that he take 1-2 personal hours daily for himself, because I need it just as much if not more so.
  11. Let me parse the numbers with an example. A compatible companion catches my eye and charges 1000 for an overnight. I inquire about his rate for 2 nights, basically 48 hours. If he quotes me 1500-2000 for the entire 2 nights (NOT per night), then I am interested. We book a meeting and have fun fun fun. If he quotes me 2250+ for the 2 nights, then I decline. The reward is tilted to the escort, and my risk is too high. And the risk of which I speak is not that the meeting will be a disaster or dangerous or a fraud, but that we simply will not mesh well for an extended session. In the past 3 years, I have scheduled many 2-nighters, and every one of them was 2x (or less) the companion's overnight rate. It's a win-win scenario for most providers, but certainly not all, since some high demand pros can churn a lot of shorter appointments. It cuts me some slack for being a legit client, and it rewards the provider who doesn't have to schedule numerous shorter appointments in the same two day period to make equal or greater money. I hope I explained this clearly. This is just one man's opinion. There are 500 others on this forum. Good luck sifting through them all. HAHAHA!
  12. Glad Victor chimed in with good advice from a pro's take. Here's some insight from this client's perspective. An overnight should be 12-15 hours, time for dinner, plenty of play, plenty of sleep (yes sleep!), and time for breakfast before departing. Anything less and I'm not interested. People offering 8 or 10 hour overnights are not serious in my estimation. As for rates, a reasonable overnight fee is 3-4 times the hourly rate. If it's 3x or less, then it's a bargain and I jump on it. If it's more than 4x, then I pass because the provider is telling me that he is not into it unless the fee is high. In that case, it's better to schedule 2 or 3 hours, have fun, and call it a night. I schedule many 2-nighters. I look for 2-nighters in the range of 1.5-2 times the overnight rate. 1.5 times or less is rare but an absolute steal if the companion is compatible. I ignore everyone upselling a 2nighter for more than 2.25 times their overnight rate. The risk-reward is against me in that scenario. Clients learn a lot about a provider by looking at his rate structure. Learn to market yourself for longer appointments and repeat clients. That will take you far along the path of success in the biz. Good luck, and I hope you successfully come to an agreement, meet a good client, and have fun. It's gotta be fun for you too, or you won't last long in this biz.
  13. An escort offering a BFE who refuses to kiss?.....hmmmmm.... I think that violates the law of non-contradiction. Ha!
  14. It ended 3 meetings ago. Sorry, but it happens.
  15. My experiences led me to believe it's largely a racket. I'm fortunate that I have never had a cavity as an adult (favorable pH is the reason I think?), have good teeth, form and structure. So, I haven't been to a dentist in over 20 years! I get my teeth cleaned by the students at a local tech college. That's all I want. I don't want x-rays. I don't want recommendations for this, that, or the other. I don't want a scammer sticking his tools in my mouth finding things. I'm doing just fine, thank you very much.
  16. I know it's a cash biz and simple convenience says use it when possible, but you may want to re-think the level of transparency you revealed here. Just a suggestion from someone who wants you to succeed to the max.....as a pro in this biz.
  17. If a provider lists the legal verbage as the very first thing in the text of his ad, I immediately hit the "x" because I know he is someone who doesn't have a clue about the biz or how to satisfy a client.
  18. You're awesome man! Enjoy your day!
  19. Hot stuff! Great read about a fun time. Are you a journalism prof?
  20. ugh......
  21. I get hit up by providers occasionally. I don't mind. It happened this week, and the conversation between us was quite good. I can always ignore/delete a message, and I feel no compulsion to respond if I'm not interested. But I have scheduled a few successful meetings that began with a provider initiating contact with me on RM.
  22. I haven't booked the trip yet, but do hope to attend. Just can't quite commit yet, but the good thing is that going to DC in January can be planned closer to the event. Flights from ATL and DC hotels are plentiful and reasonably priced.
  23. Your planning, research, and anticipation will be part of the fun. Enjoy the journey along the way, latbear!
  24. This whole episode is disturbing and shocking on so many levels. I don't know much about the porn industry (gay or straight), but I know alot about our industry, and if you want to talk about ignorance and misinformation, it is right on our doorstep. Many providers I've met over the past few years are clueless about crucial health matters, precautions, testing, medical advances, immunizations, risk factors, transmission pathways of HIV or other STDs, long-term health risks of untreated conditions, etc. For almost 20 years, we've witnessed ignorance of these important matters, whether willful, unintentional, or misinformed, spill out openly on this forum. But I can't remember a charge of "bigotry" being leveled against an ill-informed community member. Until now, I never considered that a female bisexual porn star would be so "homophobic" against gay men. Wow, was I wrong, but now I'm woke! (NOTE: in case you cannot tell, my snark is off the charts right now!)
  25. Nah....I've got enough age-related deterioration going on with me. I don't need to give the fellas another reason to call me "daddy".
