I filled out the calendar link and followed up with a text, back in June. I never heard anything back besides an auto response so I cancelled.

So he’s still quoting $1500/hour or $2000 for an overnight. This kind of perplexes me - if I’m willing to spend 1500 why wouldn’t I just do the overnight for 500 more? Or is this not a real rate?

I’ve not met him, but talked via text. Was planning to meet but my schedule got messed up and had to cancel. He gets a lot of flack on this forum for the name changes, but he’s incredibly nice and pleasant via text. I’m sure he has reasons for the name changes, I’d still love to meet him someday.

It’s OK. Typical live-work-play situation. Most cities seem to have one now. Whole Foods, Lulu Lemon, chain restaurants, movie theatre, green space, Apple Store, etc... Alpharetta traffic is insane like most of the area. I will say the downtown Alpharetta has come a long way even in the 6 years I’ve lived there. Very walkable, lots of green space, condos, restaurants, etc... The whole place is still a little too suburban for me so I’m hoping to move in the next year or so. I was recently contacted by no less then 5 guys after leaving a review on RM. First time hiring, so it was a little jarring, but I didn’t mind responding. One pushed for quite a few details, including the rate, but I just kept my response positive (it was a VERY good experience), and vague. I didn’t feel comfortable sharing the rate, but again, it was my first time, so not sure if that’s commonly done.

Thank you @lonely_john! I used a lot of the advice on this thread and reached out to a provider about 2 weeks ago. I was honest with my concerns and what I was looking for. I found an excellent guy and it couldn’t have gone better. I’m very appreciative of all of the comments and advice, and for this forum in general.

Just want to thank everyone for chiming in on this thread! I really appreciate the perspectives and it makes me feel a lot more comfortable booking a session.

After being overweight for most of my adult life I don’t offend easily and have a thick skin. (Pun intended). I’m not sure if you even read my post, but that’s just what I am doing, having gone from 477 to 250 lbs in three years. My health is better than it has ever been the past ten years and my doctor tells me I’ve added years to my life. The point of the post was to get feedback on what I should expect from providers at this size. I can assure you that any overweight person does not need to be told to get to a gym, we live in these bodies and whether or not we show it, we know deep down the effect excess weight has on our health. Unsolicited advice like this is neither helpful or supportive.

First time posting here so apologies if this is a repeated topic. I did some searching but didn’t find a lot. Some background, used to be super obese (over 400 lbs) and now into the obese territory, (250 lbs). Still losing but I’ll probably never be thin or buff...
