I know it as an over-the-counter mouthwash/rinse for dry mouth and throat. My dentist prescribed it to me for such purposes. My experience is that it can provide very short relief but only that. I'm not sure how it applies to this conversation.

Following up, they work. Six hours in with a 50mg dosage and still can get it up without much coaxing. I was a little lightheaded for a bit so may try splitting in half next time to test results. Didn’t make it any bigger but definitely harder with less effort. Thanks to each and every one for all the advise.
