Wow - Dick Dubois, what a body !! Southern California in the 1950s exerted a powerful draw on hopeful young actors and physique stars. One of the best built and most handsome of the golden boys who came west to make their fortunes was Richard DuBois. He was born on March 4th, 1933, into a poor family in the Bronx borough of New York City. After his successful bodybuilding career, he would become an actor working in film and stage shows, sometimes with Mae West. He left Hollywood to become an ordained minister.

Gay Couples - Donald Windham and Sandy Campbell Donald Windham (1920 – 2010) was an American novelist and memoirist. He is perhaps best known for his close friendships with Truman Capote and Tennessee Williams. Sandy Campbell (1922 –1988) was a Broadway actor, and later editor and publisher, mainly for his life-partner, Donald Windham. Sandy Campbell met Donald Windham in 1943 while Campbell was modeling for painter Paul Cadmus. The relationship lasted until Campbell’s death in 1988. Campbell left his estate to Windham with the agreement that, at Windham’s death, the remaining of the estate would be used to create a literary prize. The Donald Windham Sandy M. Campbell Literature Prizes was established in 2011 by Yale University.
