  1. Some do and others don't! Especially foreigners or men from abroad who are more used to a haggling culture start high. Or if they perceive you're not local or might be well off, they will charge a different rate to you that to a local. That has even happened to me with currency when suddenly apologizing saying they had meant US Dollars when quoting instead of local currency. The deed was done already, and I'd pay it but they instantly lost my repeat business and referrals and glowing reviews. Many working guys are short sighted and don't understand how businesses are run, business ethics and customer satisfaction. HooBoy, (may he rest in peace) MANY MANY times used to warn guys traveling to other places to not offset the local markets. It pisses off the locals and ruines business as its done there. Plus as cheap as the tourist thinks it is, he's still being ripped off by local standards and paying more for the same thing or service. And yes some do offer early afternoon or lunchtime specials. I used to see it more back in the days when men advertised in the back pages of the local gay rags.

  3. Lucky you! 🤪
  4. Quality cheeses and crackers and maybe some nice olives too if I'm drinking alcohol.
  5. Easy Crockpot Pot Roast: - 1 bag of sauce (shown below) sold at any supermarket - 3lbs of Chuck Roast or Rump Roast with nice marbling on it - seasoned with sea salt and cracked black pepper. Browned on all sides in a large skillet with a little olive oil. Remove and place in crockpot. - 1 small bag of multicolored baby potatoes - 1 small bag of cut and peeled fresh baby carrots - Brussel Sprouts (as many as you like) - Cut parsnips - cut about the size of the carrots (optional and I don't always add them) - Canned or fresh whole baby round mushrooms - A very FEW rosemary leaves (not too many or it might be too strong of flavor) Place all washed vegetables, sauce from packet into crock, then swish a little bit of water in sauce packet and add to the croak and arrange around and over the meat. Cook as directions say on packet or crockpot. Hours later, ENJOY!
  6. Well, but not all good southerners are Floridians either! 😉 🥧
  7. Costco makes a good one. My favorite was an easy recipe on a Florida postcard I picked up at Walmart many many decades ago. Easy as pie and no eggs or baking either! Unfortunately I lost the postcard. But the secret to any good Key Lime Pie is to use REAL key limes! The juice from other limes is just not the same. And a good quality condensed milk is esencial and that they only just vary in price and where they come from but no, they are not the same and we taste it in the results.

  9. I just ordered a package from Manscaped.com/AZB to trim and stay fresh in my horribly humid climate. With this link sponsored by AWESOME Gay Couple "AZB" on YouTube, one gets a 20% off, free shipping and free gifts with an order! I can't wait for mine to arrive! Last time I tried it with my regular barber head and beard clippers I nicked myself! OUCH!! I swore never to do it again without the proper tools. I used to have a friend who got off trimming me when I used to live in "Gay Mecca" on the west coast. Sigh... now in my quiet suburbia no such playmates or fetishists are available. Everything's a trade off in life it seems. https://www.manscaped.com/?utm_source=AZB&utm_medium=Influencer &discount=AZB&amount=20percent&name=AZB&utm_content=AZB
  10. Maybe he just finally made aliyah and is happy doing low end hustlers in the bushes at Gan Ha'atzmaut! Ya never know? 🤔

  16. David SF would have been my recommendation. He does travel a lot, but he possibly might me somewhere in state where you might be able to get to him and then after your appointment come back to PS to enjoy your stay there? California is easy and cheap to fly around in or drive in and to close neighboring states. So it's not a big deal like is sounds in other states. I now live in a state where it is a big deal getting around the state or flying out of the state. But back in my California days, I would fly in state or in the west coast region and be back that evening at home without any inconvenience with relative ease and inexpensively. Just an idea if he'd be willing to see you while away if he's somewhere in the region. Best of luck to you!
