Was there a little over a decade ago. Visiting old friends in SD and we went one night. Meh, it wasn't anything I wanted to repeat even though my Spanish is pretty fluent which made it easier, and I had had some fun. At the time I remember thinking, I'd much rather fly to Vancouver which I did often when living in California, also inexpensive and a better selection of men, well for my tastes at least. Mexico is cheap but you get what you pay for. TJ is not the DF Mexico City for sure, so don't expect too much from the border town. Take your passport to cross back into the US and keep small bills $1's, $5's at hand because you'll be hounded for tips left and right. P.S. Dancers weren't completely nude. Stripped down to undies and thongs. Offered to do "privates" in the back nude. A few sweet guys polite and nice to customers. Lots of drag queens though. Mixed crowd with some straight women with their bf's. I loved it when entering the gay guy at the door yelled to the women "¡Las niñas tienen que pagar!" - "Girls have to pay to get in" Men are free. LOL It made my night since usually it's the oposite in clubs around the world!
