  1. Nice, quick read. Loved his descriptions. Perfect for homosexual males of a certain age that will relate easily.
  2. David Geffin at one time had staff that spotted young men who could be of interest to him. I knew of a bartender in New York who was drop dead, movie star handsome. He worked at the Palladium on 14th Street often shirtless. He was approached by one of Geffin’s staff and asked if he would like to fly out to California. He went on the adventure. He was flown out on a private plane and spent the night with Geffin and then flown back to NYC. This was in the ‘90’s. My take was the Uber rich operated this way rather than use an agency.

  6. https://www.bbc.com/news/amp/world-us-canada-45411765 Judy Garland's stolen ruby slippers found after 13 years 04 September 2018 Getty Images Multiple pairs of ruby slippers were made for the film, including these ones displayed in Beverly Hills in 2011 A pair of ruby slippers worn by Judy Garland in The Wizard of Oz has been found 13 years after being stolen, according to US authorities. They were taken from a Minnesota museum in 2005, when someone broke in through a window late at night. Three others pairs of ruby slippers worn by Garland in the 1939 film are known to exist. An anonymous donor once offered a $1m (£775,000) reward for the stolen pair's whereabouts and the thief's name. However, the reward expired on the tenth anniversary of the robbery. It is unknown if the shoes' recovery is related to any tip-offs. Renee Zellweger prepares to play Judy Garland Public urged to help save Oz's ruby shoes Who stole Burma's royal ruby? The slippers are often said to among the most valued props in movie history. This pair was insured for $1m but experts have said they could be worth two times that now. Getty Images Judy Garland played the lead role of Dorothy Gale in the classic musical How were they stolen? The Judy Garland Museum in Grand Rapids, Garland's birthplace, had been loaned the slippers from a collector named Michael Shaw. The theft was described as a simple smash-and-grab, with the glass display case destroyed and the slipper snatched. Almost no clues were left behind, neither footprints nor fingerprints, and the surveillance camera was not working that night. "I literally felt like I was hit in the stomach when I got the call," Mr Shaw told Newsweek in 2015. "My knees buckled, and I went right down on the floor. I had taken care of those shoes for 35 years!" Jon Miner, the museum's co-founder, told the magazine he was also devastated. "I cried," he said. "I couldn't believe this happened to us because it was the stupidest thing." The museum has kept the podium - labelled "Dorothy's Ruby Slippers" - empty since they disappeared. A documentary about the theft - Who Stole The Ruby Slippers? - was released in 2015. 8. Never hired him but remember some of those pictures well. I will back you up that they are 10-15 years old.
  9. An article from September of 2017 on the science: https://aidsrestherapy.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s12981-017-0167-6 As for the psychological aspects, those who believe in the lingering memories of infant circumcision are in the same camp as those psychologists who talk about the lingering memories of infants being removed from the warmth and safety of the womb into the cold world to fend for themselves. Personally, I recall neither event. The anti vaccination people make many of the same arguments from lack of choice to both known and unknown side effects of infant and child vaccinations. This is not really a “documentary” but a “point-of-view” movie. It seems like a film that is biased in its writing and editing to promote a position rather than take a balanced look into an issue.
  10. More important for the survival of this site are the markings of who has made a contribution to Daddy. While the other markings are interesting, the contributor marks show who is willing to help their fellow man.
  11. Sorry, the confusion is “California” Patrick has the name PatrickYork: https://rent.men/PatrickYork The Patrick above has the addition of NYC in his name. Further confusion is the PatrickYork started in NYC where I first hired him. When I began coming out to California, we restarted our relationship. When you get old, you get confused PatrickYork who now lives in San Diego is very good at kissing and cock sucking for those who are interested. Hired him multiple times over the years. Last saw him in 2017 but he is fairly unchanged and the pictures were accurate as of last year. Smart and a nice time. Originally, PatrickYork was a real model and I was familiar with his professional work. He even used some of his professional shots in his original ads and they were eye catching to say the least.

  15. Does he go beyond massage?
  16. Saw it last week. Lots of fun. Not for young viewers who I believe will not know the people involved but for us “older” folks, I recommend it.
  17. For the record, I have long opposed “corporate welfare.”
  18. I did not mention the Koch brothers because it was not relevant to the post about DeBlasio limiting Uber, Lyft and others. As for the taxi companies and their drivers, it would not hurt for them to get better cars (I miss those old Checker cabs that were actually easy to get in and out), provide clean cars and be available at the touch on my I-phone. In addition, I have now read a few stories how taxis will not pick up people of color late at night (identified visually) where POC can get a digital service car as their race is unknown. In addition, poor people in the outer parts of NYC have said it is easier for them to get a car as taxis do not frequent their areas: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2018/07/30/al-sharpton-backs-uber-battle-new-york-city/ If you believe Al Sharpton, DeBlasio picked cash over the needs of poor people of color
  19. After taking about $500,000 in donations from the taxi industry and its unions, NYC Mayor DeBlasio has put restrictions on Uber and other similar services that will cut the number of drivers about 25% over the next 12 months. That will hurt their revenue as well.
  20. They do not come any better than AJ Irons.
  21. There seems to be structural, systemic disadvantage built into many societies that affect one group or another. For example, in many societies where religion/ethnicity/POC is not an issue, there is a structural disadvantage to being female. In societies that are in theory “class free” like Communist ones, non-party members are disadvantaged. Studies have shown that “beautiful people” seem to have advantages in how they are treated. In “gay culture” there seems to be an advantage to being young over being old (a younger gay friend of mine was complaining how once he hit 40, he became invisible in gay bars; of course, HE was looking for a younger, hot date ). Absolutely correct to recognize the existence the various advantages that one group has over another be it because of ethnicity, sex, beauty, party membership, family wealth, youth, etc. Most societies have some structure that advantages one group over another. What appears to be a homogeneous society from the outside will usually have nuanced sub-groups that provide advantages to some over another. The key is to recognize that these differences exist and how to address it which you note is a different subject. Today, the solutions seem to amplify the differences we have to give preferences to one group over another (the law suit against Harvard by Asian groups complaining about quotas for other groups that disadvantage them). I think it is important that while recognizing the structural disadvantages of POC in our society, to remember that they are not the only group facing such disadvantages and realizing that is the way most societies seem to be structured and to look for solutions to lift people up and give them the opportunity to become the best they can be. How do we get more Oprah success stories? What is it that lets some people overcome the structural disadvantages they have and become successful?
  22. I noticed this long ago and attributed it to the “older crowd” having had military service back in the days of the draft. “In my day...” there was no privacy in military training and during many types of later service.
  23. Here in Kansas City, there are different non-profits that could help. Meals OnWheels and similar ones deliver hot meals. Jewish Family Services, Lutheran Family Services, Catholic Family Services, etc provide home services like housekeeping and home healthcare (the services are partly government funded and are by geographic area and not by the religion of the founders). There are transportation services that provide door-to-door service. Depending on your finances, you are clearly a candidate for “assisted living” which is much different than a “nursing home.” Assisted living is like apartment living with services provided to fit your needs. Here in Kansas City, there are accommodations made for people who can not fully pay. Good luck.
