I promote as a masseur, of the sensual / erotic type. It always includes happy ending, suck rim etc. If the client returns for second or more sessions it can develop into sex but always as part of the massage and I don’t make any promises (or extra charge) about fucking them. It’s got to feel right for both of us. I also do escort sessions where I offer much more (I’m versatile) and there’s additional cost for that. I started out just doing sensual massage but realised some guys want more so that’s why I offer the full service too. But my main business is sensual massage because most of my clients just want intimacy and relaxation more than fucking.

Age and ethnicity are not questions I ask. Obviously clients have to be over 21 but apart from that I never ask. However there are signs that clients give that indicate they’re a time waster for example, asking for discounts, lots of questions about what will happen, them sending pictures of themselves - guys, I’m not interested in what you look like, I’ll see you when you turn up.

Me too, busiest day seems to be Monday. The first Monday after a payday (people get paid monthly in UK) is always busy. Next busiest is Sunday. They come after Church probably.

There’s another side to the story too. Today I had a client book a 2 hour session. He booked it 3 days ago and I had confirmed with him yesterday. I don’t see clients at my home, I use a studio which is about 45 minutes away. So I travelled to the studio and prepared only to have him message me 5 minutes before the start...in response to my text telling him to knock when he’s arrived...telling me he had hurt himself and wasn’t coming and oh he hadn’t had time to let me know. I should have learned because he’d booked a session a week ago and had again cancelled an hour before the start time with an excuse. I get it that stuff happens so I always give the benefit of the doubt once. But not twice. I’m sure that he changed his mind and just didn’t bother to think to let me know. To him I’m just some guy who is disposable. I kick myself because the signs were there....too many questions, an off hand attitude to the arrangements, telling me he’s straight and wants to explore. I guess he enjoyed the thought of it and got scared at going ahead. I get it but just have the decency to tell me beforehand. I turned down other clients because I was busy. Well his number is now shared with other guys (yes we have those networks) so he won’t be able to book anywhere without paying 100% up front.

It looks like the virus is here for a very long time, probably years, possibly for ever. We may have better treatments but there’s no guarantee of that or if a cure. As with anything in life there are risks and if the virus is here forever then everyone is going to have to learn to live with it if some sort of life is to go on. The alternative is we all stay inside and avoid any unnecessary human contact. What should we choose? To live alone but safe or live a life that carries greater risk. It’s got to be a personal choice whilst minimising risks to others who make a different choice. I don’t blame or criticise anyone for making either choice. In many ways life has always been like this...(alcohol, drugs, smoking etc) are all choices all with personal and external costs to society. This situation is no different.

I’ve stopped seeing clients totally. I’m based in London. The city has been in almost total lockdown for the last few days. Surprisingly I’ve had a few enquires but I have told them that for the time being I’m not working and it’s for their health and mine. The more effective we can make the isolation effort the more lives are saved and the less strain on our NHS. I’ll survive the loss of income, I made provision for a business interruption (it’s only sensible in this line of business) but I understand not everyone is in such a position.
