I'm going to watch season 3 but I'm keeping my expectations as low as low as low can go. This show has burned me too many times. I take comfort in the fact the newer shows like Lower Decks and Strange New Worlds have been really raising the bar on quality

So far I am only seeing it on the 7.0 version. Both the 6.0 rent.men site and the rentmen.eu sites are still not showing it. Unfortunately I suspect that this will be gone eventually. A few days ago I was seeing text on the reviews without a VPN but now that is gone.

I guess it may have to do with the change over to the 7.0 version, though I don't even know what that means anymore since this is the third time this was supposed to change over and there is still a countdown on the other two sites.

It's only two episodes in but I'm enjoying it immensely. What I'm really impressed with is how it's a really good gateway show for someone new to Star Trek. Yes, it's steeped in the franchise's history and has legacy characters in it but uses and explains them in a way that doesn't confuse newcomers.

Sadly season 2 was a mess, even more so than season 1 which is saying something. I say this as someone who hates the knee-jerk negative reactions a lot people have to all NuTrek shows, but the serialized stories they try with Picard just devolve into a clusterfuck by the end.

Now that being said if you are thinking about subscribing to Paramount + I do think Strange New Worlds is shaping up to be an excellent show and would be worth the subscription for as long as it's airing
