  1. Of course nobody needs my permission for anything at all, nor would I consider myself lifewise at this point of my life. I'm not sure why you would think that, or why you take a lot of what I write in the opposite spirit of what was intended. Am I really that poor at expressing myself? But I guess I should be glad you find it amusing, at least. Have a good night!
  2. Sad to hear today that the former president, who would be turning 99 this year, is now receiving comfort care. According to reports he has decided to forego any further medical treatments other than those aimed at providing comfort, so that he can spend his final days at home with his family - including his wife of more than 76 years, Rosalyn, who herself is set to turn 96 later this year. May he have comfort and peace over the days to come.
  3. It's unfortunate if that was the reason he reacted that way, since the term 'erotic' means so many different things to different people. It seems only natural (and reasonable) that some new potential clients may wish to ask for greater clarity about what 'erotic' means to him. Better to know beforehand I would think.
  4. I should get one of those. I'd make Kim Kardashian look like she has a pancake butt...
  5. Apparently it was the favourite film of Emperor Caracalla... (I know the 212 was a typo, but couldn't resist )
  6. I don't think anyone suggested you were 'bad'. Blocking people is your own prerogative, just like it is for anyone. I certainly haven't judged you - I don't even know you. Take care.
  7. Hopefully one day I might be wise, but I don't believe I am there yet. Nor do I consider myself adept with people - I just try to be encouraging and supportive, and hopefully show some kindness when there is an opportunity to do so. And I use puns way too often I'm sure. Have a good day
  8. How about 'coital engineer'...
  9. I'm the last person who should boast about anything. I'm confused why you would think I was boasting about communication skills, of all things. And I never meant to be overly presumptive - as I said, it seemed you were offended, and that was based on your various responses. If I read that incorrectly, it was my mistake.
  10. Sorry - what passes for my sense of humour isn't for everybody! But, no, I don't know where a person would go for that type of body treatment.
  11. Won't global warming take care of that, since a lot of coral reefs are also getting bleached?
  12. On one of the cruises I went on, another guest requested that the piano lounge performer sing, "There's Got to be a Morning After". It was not on Costa Cruises, but it was not long after the Costa ship ran aground in the Mediterranean.
  13. She's awesome - the whole cast of Keeping Up Appearances was great, but she was the heart of that show. And then playing Hetty Wainthrop in that mystery series. But not many people remember she also played Clinty Clintridge opposite Sidney Poitier in To Sir With Love. She was not a bad looking woman in her day...
  14. It sounded that way, but I'm glad that you weren't offended. My mistake.
  15. Maybe he bends his knees when he massages someone.
  16. Stella Stevens, whose 50-year career included movies, numerous TV show appearances, and miniseries, died today from Alzheimer's disease in Los Angeles. She was 84 years old, and is survived by family members including her son, Andrew Stevens, who entered the entertainment industry himself as a young adult. RIP
  17. Wasn't Drippy the 8th dwarf?
  18. I'm calling this fake news. Mine hasn't grown at all since 1993. 😭
  19. I may have missed that... I thought the term 'illegals' in the post had to do with the nature of the 'work' the scammer was engaging in rather than his ethnicity.
  20. This. (minus the wishes for incurable disease) lol.
  21. Even after they split up he always kept an eye out for her.
  22. A very old joke says that when Pia played Anne Frank on stage, as the Nazi soldiers came on scene the audience yelled 'she's in the attic!'
  23. How I wish this was true, but unfortunately Pia Zadora had most of the property razed to the ground because it was infested with termites. She later claimed that the real reason was the ghost of a laughing woman, who was someone Douglas Fairbanks had been having an affair with in the 1920s. The present Pickfair was constructed around 2005 in a very different style, and I believe it is considerably more ornate and lavish than the original - including having 30 bathrooms. This is an aerial photo of it when it was listed for sale at $60M
  24. This sounds horrendous and very scary for you. Is there a link to this individual so others can be on guard? Regardless, this will NOT destroy you, no matter how you are feeling at this moment. Try to stay strong and remember that he is breaking the law by extorting you. Wishing you much peace and comfort.
  25. It could also point to an issue with math skills...
