Yes, of course, but it would be helpful to know what city you are looking in, unless you plan on traveling the world visiting our random suggestions. 🤷♂️

I hate to sound silly, but I usually just stop them right at the end of the massage and say “can I get your number” and make a motion like I am texting on a phone. If that doesn’t work I make the phone signal with my hand and hold it up to my ear and say again “can I get your number” and then usually I say “to text you” and make the texting motion again. I’ve never had them not understand after all that what I’m asking, even with almost 0 English. But I have had them occasionally say “no” or “not allowed,” etc. I’d say though I have at least a 70% success rate though when I ask. Usually they pull out their phone or if they don’t have it on them at that point I get up and grab mine.
Other thing is sometimes they don’t have text but have WhatsApp or WeChat, or even occasionally Facebook or Instagram. So be prepared for alternative options to text (but that’s more common in Asia or elsewhere).

Renting a car means getting on a shuttle, going to the rental facility, waiting in line and suffering through the up-sell. (Unless you have status; then it might be straight to your car.) Depending upon which terminal and what day of the week a cab or Uber/Lyft might be easier and more time-efficient. (Use the LAX-it lot adjacent to Terminal 1.) Dayuse is also a possibility; there are hundreds and hundreds of hotel rooms at numerous properties just east of Terminal 1, some of which you can almost walk to. My goal is to offer suggestions to maximize your time with a provider. WeHo is not terribly far (in LA distances) from LAX. Remember you gotta get back (traffic!) and get through security. Plan ahead, leave a little room for error or the unexpected, and you’ll have a great time!

Thanks for all the advice! I could get a rental car for a very reasonable price, I was just a bit concerned about the time. LAX traffic is always a complete nightmare.
I’m going to look into the providers suggested and also the hotel option.

Yes, but 8 hours… lol. It’s true you have to have a plan, but with good planning it’s easily doable. Having done this with long layovers at LAX, JFK, HND, TPE, HKG… 🤣

I will let others chime in if they know providers near LAX… but I wanted to note that 8 hours is plenty of time to rent a car and drive in to WeHo or other areas that are more ripe with providers. You can likely rent a car (if you search for deals or have any corporate discount) for less than ubering back and forth to somewhere closer to the airport for lesser massage. Just my $.02.

A little bit! Yes. You can hear the fun others are having while trying to have your own fun, and the massage is really good. It’s very riské!

I decided to indulge and get the 75 minute service that included a mini facial and a short massage with some time in the Jacuzzi. Max was my masseur and he did a lovely job! Struck me as straight but very open to sensual elements, and gave one hell of a foot massage. I’ll go back for a longer massage and to try other therapists too. The prices here are very fair and there are lots of guys to choose from… book online and then text with the manager what you’re looking for when he reaches out to confirm the appt! Also, I recommend the table shower at the end, it was a nice way to get all cleaned up and leave feeling rejuvenated.

If its important that you make your next flight, I would get a hotel room at the airport and import a masseur who is well reviewed on this site. Then you can relax and spend whatever time you and your man arrange without the traffic anxiety.

Yeah, but I also enjoy the unknown, wondering how far he would actually go. It’s practical to clarify things, but for me it takes away the magic of discovery.
I usually look for solid technical massages with sensual or erotic elements, but what I really enjoy is the gradual discovery as things unfold.
It’s kind of like reading a mystery novel: if someone tells you the ending ahead of time, you still get the story, but you lose the thrill of turning each page and uncovering the surprises yourself.

I DM’d you. I really like Tommy from back in his G Man days through to now. As others have noted, expectations up front are important to avoid disappointment. His X/Twitter is very insightful… 🙂

+ GD85 got a reaction from BaronArtz in Researching a new masseur (rant)
I think part of the challenge is discretion is necessary in today’s environment. The realities of enforcement (spas being raided, individual masseurs having issues at border crossings, etc.) make everyone more leery to share openly. This has been stated by others, but I’m cautious to share openly with those who are brand new to the forums or don’t post much because you never know who is on the other end of the keyboard. Those conducting enforcement are absolutely using forums like these to gather intelligence.
Now, regarding the original frustration expressed by the OP, I am sure some of it stems from masseurs wanting to avoid the burden of maintaining a strong reputation. The environment exacerbates the situation.
