Is going to college still worth it?

I think that has probably always been true of "higher education," not just today. -
Is going to college still worth it?
+ Charlie replied to marylander1940's topic in Personal Finance & Investing
The problem with trying to answer whether "going to college is worth it" is that you will never really know until long after you have made the choice. It turned out to be worth it, for me, when I made the choice in the middle of the last century. Who knows whether it will be worth it for a particular individual trying to decide today? So much about the world can change within a lifetime, not to mention the changes within the individual. The important things to consider are what you know about yourself and your goals, and what you know about the choices that are available to you. -
Wow! I guess the days when I could get an in-call at a call-boy agency in Manhattan for $60 are gone for good.

He also appears today in our "Lumbersexual" thread.

Although I've been to all of those places, I suppose I'm partial to Graz because I spent a summer there.

You hit a lot of the places I love in southeastern Europe, but you left out Dubrovnik, always a tourist favorite, and Salzburg and Graz, which are worthwhile if one spends much time in Austria.

Of course, that didn't mean that before the Fair Housing Act it was impossible to sell a house to someone based on their race, etc. The former owner may very well have been pleased to sell the house to a young Black singer who was already in the news as a rising star on the international stage--he may even have been an opera fan. The FHA was passed primarily because of financial institutions that used different criteria for approving loans to certain kinds of buyers, sellers who refused offers based on their own prejudices, and housing associations that had covenants restricting who could buy in. I imagine that in 1961 it wouldn't have been that difficult in Manhattan for someone of Ms. Price's reputation to buy almost anything she could afford.

The OP stated that he would be in Oradell on Monday, so I took it for granted that he would have a car, but it sounded like he wanted a local option there that day, and people unfamiliar with the area might not know that North Bergen isn't in Bergen County (in fact, it's south of Bergen County). The recommendations for providers in North Bergen probably are his best options, but they are 35-45 minutes drive from Oradell even for someone who knows the best routes. He didn't indicate any reason for mentioning Kearny in the title.

I kind of doubt you will find much in north-central Bergen County (Paramus-Oradell). The two mentioned above are actually in North Bergen (which, of course, is in Hudson County). The mayor of Paramus is a very old friend of mine, but I don't think she could help me with info on this topic.)

I have the same experience with Firefox and Google on my PC.

Average penis size has increased 24% in 30 years
+ Charlie replied to 56harrisond's topic in Men's Health
Considering that improvements in nutrition have led to increased average body size in areas of the world where males were traditionally malnourished, it should not be surprising that the size of their penises has increased somewhat proportionally for the whole population. However, I think we all are aware from experience that it is hard to predict most individuals' cock sizes based just on their body size, nor predict their body size just from the cock protruding through the glory hole. -

Today is John Kander's 97th birthday. (Are you wondering why I mention that in this thread?😉) -

I forgot to mention Ozzie Nelson (no, I didn't sleep with him--he was my father's age.). He grew up around the corner from me, next door to my uncle, and we graduated from the same small town high school. -
"Homesteading" or "The Homestud Act" were my own ideas.

"Double trouble"?

Did he get the nipple rings when he was drunk?

How many beers does it take to get him to remove his jeans?

When I was young, every gay bar in NYC had "Non, je ne regrette rien" on the jukebox.

"Homesteading"?

I used to enjoy that program. -
Talk about a "blast from the past"--I had no idea he was still active.

I assume you would only discreetly hold hands.

Strange inconsistencies: e.g., text says 8 years massage experience, but stats say ten years; claims to have lived in Philadelphia since college (which looks like it was many years ago!), but none of the quoted testimonials are from guys in Philly--in testimonials, those from other cities usually say "in-studio" (the ones that say "mobile" are from smaller places). Says "gay friendly," but no indication what that might mean.

But there is a ferry from there to Fire Island.
