One even ran his own separate masseur review blog where he shared dozens of his experiences -- good and bad. While there were times my own experience with masseurs on his (and this blog) differed than his, he never exaggerated or lied.
 
There were posts on that site from additional clients who confirmed Grant's restrictions and erratic behavior.
 
Ditto for those who wrote he does not see Asian clients. They are reliable, longtime posters. And some private messaged me with more details.
 
He may go by Taylor or Grant, live in Weho or Phoenix, be therapeutic or sensual, but a leopard doesn't change his spots. He is responsible for the reputation he created, not clients.

That’s good to hear. Maybe with the other client, it was a case of YMMV. I fit both bills being a bit bigger and Asian. I was definitely interested until the accusations started on him discriminating against Asian men. I used disclose my body type when I exchange text with the provider so there are no surprises. Multiple providers had mentioned to me that whoever limited their sessions to certain body types are in the wrong profession. I still tend to stick with providers that accepts all on their ad.

I don’t believe it has been “well-documented” that Grant does not like Asian clients. My recollection is that one Asian client did not have a good experience with him and extrapolated from that. Evidently Grant did at one point advertise that he does not work on people who are out of shape and then that was conflated on this forum with the Asian discrimination, with people posting that he said he doesn’t work on Asians. I have seen no evidence of that.
My point is simply that this was an accusation by one person, not something that was well-documented. Because of the couple of negative comments, I avoided hiring Grant for years. Not too long ago, when someone canceled on me and Grant was “available now” I booked him, and had a terrific experience which I have repeated since.

Ive had both experiences. I had one escort I cancelled the day before with when i realized i was catching a cold, and he freaked out. He called me relentlessly for several days telling me i still owed him. He may have tried longer, but i blocked his number.
 
On the flip side, just a few weeks ago i had to drive from pheonix to salt lake for work. After i hit the road, i thought i might as well make it a two day trip, and stop in Vegas. I checked out who was available, called, arranged what i was looking for, and booked a guy for a half night session for that night. He knew i was making a long drive, and told me to just give him a call when i got in, and he would come over. I stopped in kingman for food and fuel, which is pretty close to vegas, and shortly after was on the side of the road puking my guts out. I realized it was most likely food poisoning, and gave the escort a call. He suggested i get to the hotel, take a shower, and see if it was just a fluke, or more serious, and then update him. I did so, but was obviously in bad shape. I felt pretty bad about having to cancel with him when he was standing by, and was ready to offer to partially compensate him, but he wouldn't have it. He told me he was sorry my night in vegas was ruined, and he hoped i got feeling better before i had to hit the road again in the morning.
He was beyond gracious, as opposed to the other guy who was just an ass. I think any decent person will realize that life happens, and be willing to adapt rather than blame.

Guess I will revive this thread with my experience with Jake. He was pretty accommodating with a last minute booking. His massage skills are quite impeccable!! He was very intuitive with the body and knows exactly how much pressure to apply. Overall, I highly recommend on just the massage itself. It was deep and therapeutic. He’s clearly had some formal training. He also looks exactly like his pictures. ? ???

I had this happen twice. Both times the massage wasn't that bad, more like a meh or even ok, so it's their loss because they didn't get the tip.
I believe I registered my displeasure on this forum but can't find those posts now.
I attribute this mostly to cultural differences, but if one is practicing in this country, one needs to adopt local customs sooner rather than later. Oh, well...

This is how I look at it. We all make choices. We choose to do certain things that are more or less risky. A masseur May choose or choose not to or lie about his status. The client may as well. and either party may or may not choose to tell the other that they caught something. I believe in karma. I think the site is great for sharing accurate info publicly. And privately I’m sure we share what we think or believe to be the case with people we have made friendships with. But, we shouldn’t be judgmental about how a masseur Decides to provide extras or how a client engages in risky behavior even if we wouldn’t conduct our life that way. For crying out loud, if half of our family and coworkers read these posts they would think we are depraved.

This literally happened to me yesterday as well. It was the first, and only, massage I terminated early. Like you, I feel the provider is in desperate need of this gig. At the end, we settled up, and I headed my own way. The provider texted me and said he truly enjoyed working on my body, and asked if I would leave a review for him.
 
I politely responded, “I’m genuinely grateful for the time you spent with me today! However, my experience today doesn’t line up with the other reviews I saw of you online, and I would rather keep my experience to myself. If you’re open to feedback, I can give you my thoughts. Otherwise, I’ll leave off with it being a pleasure to have met you today!”
 
He never responded, so I assume he wasn’t receptive to constructive criticism.
