I'd have to check with the friend who helped me move, but I think we drove through that when moving from Chicago to San Diego.

I haven't said anything about his looks or attributes. I just happen to be among the contingent no matter how few in number they might be -that even as a top, doesn't like gaping holes staring me in the face. And it's not this escort specifically. I'd feel the same about any escort with these kind of pictures.

I've never gotten close to paying 500 for 3 days of someone in Honolulu or 200 for an overnight anywhere. But I can tell you there are still penniless straight guys who will unzip or more for 100. Harder to find these days, but still available.

Honestly, it should be the one that feels right for you. As long as you're not snide or "take it or leave it", you shouldn't have to be self conscious about a response. Btw the guy you referenced in the other thread is a schmuck. He will have his comeuppance.

This clip of Garland on the 1st ABC iteration of Cavett has probably been posted before, but I think it is the best example of her talent as an entertainer shining through despite the effects of pills, booze, and who knows what else. Infuriates me to see the occasional snark comments on this clip about her being bombed. Those are the types who never understood her struggles.

i like number 3 becuz i will tell u why... first off its cool to keep communication open with the client. u never know what can develop and just becuz the client cant afford your rate today doesnt mean that they wont be in a better financial postion at a later date. also you can make a deal with the client to help you with reviews if they like ur services. thats a huge deal...its hard to get clients to take the time to post reviews. a client can help u in other ways also . i have some that have access to hotel points and i work deals with them when i come to town. so just becuz a client cant match ur rate in that moment doesnt mean u have to be a butthole about it. work thru it. be flexible

The thing I've noticed about elder housing is that, no matter how nice it is, none of the residents want to be there. My husband and his sibs found a beautiful place for their mom-it was like a luxury hotel. They literally had to sell the family farm in order to finance it. Yet she never stopped saying that she just wanted to go home.

We found an excellent place for my mom, affiliated with Emory University. She managed to tolerate it by spending her time plotting her escape.

Yes, but keeping one's ego in check is the trick.

Though often when we accuse performers of having too much ego, the behavior we see is actually coming from a place of insecurity, not overconfidence.

Hey guys, if you are dancing at a club but also have an escort add, what is the etiquette around -say- asking if you want to step out for an hour or two? It seems like many of the guys at Adonis for example do both. Will you get in trouble if you skip out for a bit? Is it sketchy to ask?

    Thanks!

She was advised not to sing in German in Tel Aviv. Her reply was 'I will not sing one song in German-I will sing nine!' This she did, opening with a German lullaby which melted the hearts of the whole audience.
She included a lament sung in Yiddish in honour of all those who perished in the holocaust. Coming from someone of German birth that took balls & the Jewish audience loved her.

Me too. Dietrich was a legend. She renounced her German citizenship in the face of Nazism, entertained the Allied troops on the front line during WW2 & received the highest honours from America & France then went on to become the highest paid cabaret artist in the world including performing in Israel with Burt Bacharach as musical director as a contribution towards reconciliation.
She was openly bisexual in a very prejudiced world & didn't give a damn!
She had charisma & glamour rarely seen & only stopped performing in her 70's when she broke her thigh in a fall in Sydney & retired to her apartment in Paris where she lived till she was 92-not bad for someone who was reported to live on 'champagne & cigarettes!'
I & many others would love to see a biopic of this amazing icon as long as it isn't based on her daughter's book which was written with a poison pen.

Marlene is certainly a hero in Berlin, except for the far right wing.

She was one of the many famous people in the 1961 film "Judgment in Nuremburg," with Spencer Tracey.

I for one can't wait for a Dietrich mini biopic, though it might have to be a bit sensational for ratings. I read her daughter's biography of her a few years back. As I recall, her life by the 60s was constant tension between booze and the ability to constantly reinvent. All of this was before her famous London encore in the early 70s. I think she was a genius.

Client Smith posted his account of an exchange between himself and Escort Wiseass, detailing how the escort agreed to work for a lower rate if Mr Smith would meet him very soon. According to Smith, Mr. Wiseass deliberately led him to believe that the two gents would meet at Smith's apartment at 7pm. However, wiseass pulled a fast one, backing out of the agreement because he claimed that another client was going to pay his stated rate and more. After a few helpful posts responding to Mr. Smith's dilemma, things quickly devolved into a free for all pie fight following the member's post quoted above. Was the OP genuine in claiming he had no desire to haggle with Escort Wiseass? Was it right to question OP's premise? Several members threw full pies; some threw slices here and there; some just threw a bit of shade. Forum administrators report no serious injuries. In the end, the question of who was in the right was never resolved. The only thing we know is that a childish, smart ass escort was so offended that he tricked a client into preparing for a commitment he did not intend to honor, triggering what could have been a blood bath.

I saw "The Boy From Oz" in a theater in Sydney, Australia in 1998. At intermission, I happen to see a small sign that signified that Dietrich's last concert took place there. I believe she fell at some point that last night.

Gays are well accepted around there. Just a few minutes away is Strong City and Cottonwood Falls. As you come into town, there is a florist with a big rainbow flag out front. In town, everyone knows everyone and who is partners with whom. Very live and let live.

So sorry to hear that. Must have been one of those post- WWII periods in which a)the military felt pressure to purge its ranks of perverts and b) it could spare the personnel.

I wouldn't say anything at all. It's one of those things you should just keep to yourself. It's tempting but you cannot take it back if the other doesn't feel the same way. Then it's just awkward. It's one of those fine lines you really don't want to cross.
