I'm game for a Friday nite outing. No preference as to what or where it is.

Happy Birthday, Mike!!!

Anita Bryant died last year (just being reported now)
SlimJim replied to Merboy's topic in Comedy & Tragedy
I was in my late teen's, trying to figure out my own sexuality, when Anita caused her ruckus. She was probably a major reason I stayed in the closet for the next decade and suffered from depression. -
I wanted to edit one of my posts, but I don't see the option? How do you do it?

One time, while staying at a hotel, I took the stairs and a straight couple was going at it in the stairwell. I asked if they'd like to use my room, but they declined. I should have stayed to watch but felt I was invading their privacy. In retrospect, does privacy exist in a public stairwell?🙄

I'm so glad for shorter shorts becoming the norm. I love seeing thighs in public.

I'm booked at InnDulge. Looking forward to another great gathering! Thanks Oliver!

I used to peruse misstravel.com. It's a website kind of aimed toward sugar daddies searching for travel partners. I haven't checked it out for a long time, but you could search for guys or girls. I never did anything other than browse, so can't give any recommendation.

I used to live in Denver. The Ballpark was amazing!

Just happened upon this in YouTube. I'd love to be a dressing room attendant for this group.

It was great to see Mondo break the world pole vaulting record!

And yes, I do realize that I'm now one of the old geezers... -
Gen Z Has Officially Canceled Ankle Socks: "They're For Old People"
SlimJim replied to 56harrisond's topic in The Lounge
When I was young, if you wore shorts, you had to wear white socks. Only the old geezers wore black socks with shorts. Now, I still can't get used to seeing everyone wearing black socks with shorts. -
Thanks for the suggestions! I appreciate it!

I might be in Tampa in a few weeks. If so, I definitely want to check out Johnson's. Is nearby parking available? Is it in a safe part of town? Also, any recommendations for hotels in the area? Thanks!

When I'm at home in the wintertime, I usually run the heat around 71 or 72 and still have to wear a sweatshirt. At night I set it at 67. And sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and feel like it's freezing! I wish I had the ability to sleep with it colder. I don't know how people can stand it in the 50's!

Madrigal's was great! I spent a lot of time there, and was at practically all of their private parties in the 90's.

Belated Happy Birthday, Nate!

I'm a little baffled. What does Mike Austin have to do with Jaxx Kingston?

Looking forward to it, Oliver! I booked a room at InnDulge, so I'll see y'all in April!

Met him at the Palm Springs gathering. He is so nice.... I love his Spanish accent. Great body..... every inch of it!

I concur with people mentioning the background music. It seems there is background music all the time, and all I can hear is the music. What would be wrong with having dialogue with no music in the background? (Such as in the old days!)

Belated Happy Birthday, SF westcoaster! Hope to see you in Palm Springs next spring!

Attention! - 20th Annual Palm Springs Weekend, 2023
SlimJim replied to + Oliver's topic in The Lounge
The weekend gatherings were so fun, and hanging around INNdulge was so relaxing. Just what I needed. Similar to what nate_sf said.... I think it is about my favorite event of the year. Thanks to everyone for making it great! -
Oz and Bourbon Pub have several dancers on special occasions, such as Mardi Gras and Southern Decadence. They don't really use a special stage... the dancers just dance on the bars.
