I ended up taking the plunge and seeing him tonight.

I met Pete whilst in San Diego and it was great! I had 90 minutes with him one evening and could have easily gone for more. 
Massage was on a bed, but he had a headrest that attached to the bed so it was much more comfortable — that was a first for me and made me actually not mind it being on a bed!
