I would also note that the smallpox vaccine given in the 60s/70s included a booster recommendation after 3 years if still in a high smallpox risk area. 
 

Not sure how concerned I should be. Living in Maryland we have a total of 159 cases out of a state of 6.5 million and my doctors office does not even have a vaccine supply. Worried but not freaking out....yet.

I got my first dose in NYC today. I asked about second dose and they said they people are starting to become eligible for second doses and that they are beginning to load second doses into the booking system, but it's not live yet. They said we'd be contacted. But even one dose provide solid protection after 28 days. 
I'd like to wait til second dose before getting another massage, but it'll get harder to resist after 28 days.

Glad this thread received some new attention. Personally, I think I’m just stay away from massages until things change. It’s not worth the  risk. Every new pimple, blister, heat rash is making me lookup s&s of monkey pox as is.

I got "No" at both doors too. Went back to my hotel and changed into what I would deem leather / fetish gear, went back and walked right in (and everytime after). I checked most of the gear at coat check and enjoyed my evening. The door games are a joke, just jump through their hoops and you'll get in.
