  1. He's at 24 Chelsea Spa now. Recently opened on 24th & 9th.
  2. I went recently and I can recommend. It's nice, clean, and new. One Ave from the subway stop. Called to schedule about an hour in advance and had no issues. Rooms were a nice size and there is a shower (I didn't use it). Prices are accurate as posted. If you've been to Times Square [Mens] Spa then you'll be very familiar. It's TSMS 2.0
  3. Thanks! We heard about it this morning. Our AirBnB is on a private system and not impacted. Should be cleared up by Saturday. Pablo is a bit pricey but PTown is such a massage desert I may reach out. I was hoping for a bit of Intel too. Being in NYC we get spoiled with choice.
  4. Did you try Pablo? I leave for PTown tomorrow for 10 days.
  5. I know that question has been asked a lot. I'm sure they will look into it, but just looking at NYC data we can see people 50+ are getting it. Reference link: https://www1.nyc.gov/site/doh/data/health-tools/monkeypox.page I would also note that the smallpox vaccine given in the 60s/70s included a booster recommendation after 3 years if still in a high smallpox risk area.
  6. I got my first dose in NYC today. I asked about second dose and they said they people are starting to become eligible for second doses and that they are beginning to load second doses into the booking system, but it's not live yet. They said we'd be contacted. But even one dose provide solid protection after 28 days. I'd like to wait til second dose before getting another massage, but it'll get harder to resist after 28 days.
  7. Here's a link to the data (updated weekly). All men and a few trans persons. Median age is 35 but goes up to 69. https://www1.nyc.gov/site/doh/health/health-topics/monkeypox.page
  8. The CDC said the smallpox vaccine from 50 years ago may provide "some protection" but I doubt they really know. The NY Health Dept response has been a comedy of errors. To get back to the original topic I'm pausing massages til I get vaccinated as a precaution.
  9. If you find out where he ended up - let me know!
  10. I *think* he does the odd massage when he's in town for some extra cash. Him and his husband moved outta NYC during the early pandemic.
  11. Bold - wow.
  12. I've had very little luck with the "Masaje Amigo?" places. What do you ask for when you stop and inquire? Someone else said ask for the "Boyfriend experience".
  13. Wow! Very nice - did you get them all on Grindr? I starred a couple guys in advance of my trip? Did you try out Wolfie? Did you try out any of the guys standing outside massage places? Never had luck with them.
  14. How was Amaria? Worth the money? I leave for PV this week. Pinara's evening parties are by far the best. Burgers n Boys was kinda boring.
  15. I'm heading down in a couple weeks. Staying in Zona Romantica. Any other recommendations?
  16. He's also all over Grindr. Why buy the cow...
  17. First of all I've never had massage worth $200. And the above posters are correct, the bed further detracts from the experience. So unless the services provided exceed the topic of this post, I wouldn't even consider it.
  18. Agree with all of the above. I've tipped the same for a job well done.
  19. Does he still go by Charlie there?
  20. Per Google maps - Lex n 40th.
  21. Yeah, it's called "Spas in NYC", which is THIS thread. Yeesh...
  22. Same with me. My 'Mike' definitely was not 30, skinny, no muscle and not a twink. Skills were mediocre at best.
  23. YMLV with Mike. I booked him a few weeks ago. One of the worst masseurs at Shangrila in my opinion - Cold and interested. Would not repeat, nor recommend. But if you're into asain guys over 40 he may be your thing.
  24. Dude looks like he's in the wrong biz. I'd tell him exactly where to shove those 4 fingers. 🤣
