I've seen George multiple times for the last 3 or 4 years for grooming services (waxing/trimming). He's always provided excellent, detail-oriented service along with a very warm, open and fun personality. I've never hired him for a massage session, but he usually does some massage with his grooming services in my experience and he certainly seems to know what he's doing. I believe he worked at a legitimate day spa before he went fully private.
 
He works out of a 5th floor walk-up with a shower available. He's not a gym rat (got a little pudge on him), but he has a sweet smile and can be extremely sensual; the boy's got skills.

Yes. Since I wrote the first review also saw him a second time and he was nude the entire time. Gives a very good strong massage and I’d repeat if he comes back to NY area.

Thanks for taking one--tells us what we need to know. $160 is pricey for a "decent" massage by a fully clothed guy, even if very attractive.

It really does sound like one of those guys who tries to squeeze in as many appointments as possible. On the one hand, in today's environment I can understand the need to maximize one's business. The way to go about that is not to schedule a bunch of appointments into a slot of time that cannot possibly accommodate for providing a good massage, clean up between clients, and travel time, if the masseur is doing out as well as incalls.
 
Reminds me of a massage I booked once years ago that I probably posted about here before: I arrived at the masseur's location a few minutes early, so I texted him that I could walk around until our appointment time or come up early if he was ready. He told me to wait. At our appointment time, I texted him again and he told me he still needed a few minutes and to wait. I saw someone who may have been a client leave his building and then he texted me that he was ready. As I entered his apartment, he was on the phone with someone arranging an appointment for only 30 minutes later. After he hung up, I told him I was leaving because it was obvious he wasn't serious about providing a good massage if he was telling someone to arrive only 30 minutes after my session was going to begin. He started arguing with me as I left and I called him a con artist and kept walking. It would have been bad enough had he been scheduling someone for exactly 60 minutes after my time was supposed to begin, especially since we were already going to be starting 10 minutes late. But to tell someone to arrive in a half hour just told me that he was planning to do a rub & tug in the hopes that I would get off quickly and he could send me on my way.

Here is the list of my massage forays during Phase 4+ here in NYC. I am not delusional. I know that in any of these adventures, I may get COVID. I just try to minimize my risks by choosing NYC masseurs and not go to masseurs who are traveling or who have just traveled from NYC DOH restricted states. Again, these are my experiences and I cannot guarantee that this will be the same for you. I tried to write about the details in my massage experiences that I believe will most likely happen to anyone who books a 90min session with the masseurs below.

I went to see him at his place in Harlem. He is a very nice guy. He definitely looked like his photos. He just had a birthday so the living room still had decorations. Thank god that he has a dedicated space for the massage. You’re both not masked. He has a comfortable table and he was nude from the get go. This guy’s body is smooth. He used good Swedish techniques with some stretching but definitely self-taught. I would probably go back. MT and HE. No upsell.

I saw Alex at his place. He actually looked much younger than his photos. I was actually surprised and he appeared normal. I honestly expected him to be quirky (due to the weird photo poses) but he was just that - normal He works in a large shared apartment in Harlem which is clean and neat. You’re both not masked. He had a table and he was wearing his underwear when we started but kinda took them off 5 minutes in - maybe it was hot He was quite good with a mix of sensual light touches - almost like caresses really) and then some Swedish kneading. This guy is HOT! When you contact him, he texts you the various services and the corresponding fee. I decided to go for the sensual one - there’s the therapeutic and the more expensive erotic. He also requests for a Venmo deposit which may be a deal breaker for some. His place is quite nice and the opportunity to shower beforehand (actually a prerequisite) is refreshing. You’re both not masked. He uses Swedish techniques primarily on a table. He was nude from the start. His body is pretty muscular and smooth. Nice d and a. After our session, I got the chance to shower again. Afterwards, I asked him how different my experience would have been if I chose the erotics one and he said it will be more intimate and more body contact. I dunno, but our session was already pretty intimate so I guess I should come back to find out what he means by “intimate”. MT and HE and since his rates are tiered, there’s no upsell. I would definitely go back.

Phil is a keeper. He is actually someone who would be a good person to see if you are planning your first massage during this pandemic. He is masked and so are you. He works from a. Small apartment but it was clean and neat. He works on a table and has single-use coverings. His techniques are very good - spa quality. His rates are actually quite low for the kind of massage quality you’re getting. He may not have the best physique, but he is cute and really is a nice guy. He only advertises as therapeutic but then things do happen. Not that I’m complaining I would go back.

Now this guy was such a surprise. He already looks cute in his pictures but he is so adorable in person. Tall, dark and handsome and from Paraguay. He just moved to his new place in the UES. He has a neat shared apartment but his own table set-up in his room. He uses a table. You are both not masked. He has very good techniques and also massaged me in his underwear and then not ?. His body is pretty toned and smooth. He is very sexy and a nice guy which I found very appealing. We are both cyclists so it’s great to chat afterwards. MT and HE. No upsell. This guy is totally therapeutic. But his techniques are very Thai massage-based which I love. He works on a mat and you’re both masked and you’re both wearing gym clothes. He asks you to bring them during the appointment. He is very nice and friendly. He shares the space in West Harlem with housemates but has his own space in the living room to do his sessions. I love chatting with him as he twists and bends you. Really good post-workout. No MT or HE. I would go back.

Jason is a very nice guy. He also needs better pictures on his website. As someone who has been a model in LA, his picture online are crappy. He is definitely much much better looking in person. He has a very hot defined body and is much leaner than his photos which honestly suits him better. He works from a table as pictured in his ad. It is a bit misleading since the place is small and a bit cluttered when I was there. It kinda looked liked my room when I was in university. ? He starts out in his underwear but those came off quickly. Did I say he was sexy? He is thicc. His techniques are excellent. He uses deep tissue techniques and my god they were awesome. My muscles were sore after a workout so the release was great from the deep tissue muscle manipulation. Someone in the forum said that he used to escort, I would just say, it showed! I would definitely go back. MT and HE and no upsell.

Also a member that has not tried any of the paid services or classes. I get occasional requests to swap massages but always wondered about the pros listed on there....

I've seen Chris. He's a very friendly and sweet guy. Totally therapeutic and he asks that you wear a mask during the session. He does as well. The session is done at a huge living room turned workout room in a multiroom place (and multi roommate but none were there when I had my session) up in West Harlem. It's done on the mat (as you see from the pic) and you're wearing gym clothes. It's similar to the stretching you get from a trainer after a workout session. He does PT as well from his place. He also does outcalls and he tends to bring a simple yoga mat for such occasions. His pricing is appropriate for the kind of service he provides. Clearly not for the majority of folks in this forum but he serves a niche for those requiring such a session. PS English is his native language. I think he was born in NJ

Had a massage with Jorge recently. Super hot sexy guy and a nice physique. He has excellent massage skills esp if you like lots of deep pressure like I do. A little pricey at 170/hour but I left happy and will repeat.

There's absolutely no way the provider was asking to be paid after the session in giftcards. That would open them up to a client bringing unactivated giftcards and cheating the provider. Occam's razor... the provider would have asked for the card numbers before sending the details for meeting.

I paid one provider for a while in gift cards. He had problems managing his money (drugs/gambling/whatever?). As our friendship developed we realized the gift cards helped him buy groceries, gas for the car, etc. with him not having access to cash to burn.
 

My gift cards to *anyone* always have the validating receipt taped to them or discreetly inside. Not hard to verify their value.

Scam scam scam. Thankful for this forum especially for guys new to hiring masseurs who may not know what’s normal and what’s not.

Whatever the reason, just read this thread title aloud and it sounds suspicious, low budget, and not very sexy. No, no, and no.

In this case what could be happening is the customer buys the gift card to supposedly bring to session. But the so-called masseur would ask the customer to read the number on back to verify he actually got the gift card. As long as the scammer has the number he can use the gift card. If customer is on way to session he may be more likely to be not so smart and read off the number.

So glad I decided to pass on this guy.

If a provider doesn’t accept cash (cash is king) to me it’s a red flag.

Search "gift card scam" on the board here. It's a very well-known way to steal your money.

Well..the well known scam is sending a gift card BEFORE the appointment.
 
The OP suggests he was asked to “bring” a gift card (to the session?). If that’s the case...where’s the risk to the client? Seems the masseur puts himself at risk.
 
I’m not naive! I’ve warned many young friends of the dangers of gift cards.
 
I very frequently give my Seeking Arrangement or other social media friends/meets a gasoline gift card as a little gift (in addition to any allowance already negotiated)...it’s always appreciated here in SoCal.

Relatively new so here goes my first review... saw Kris while he was visiting CT (Stamford). The massage was excellent and his pictures are accurate. Nice and fit guy only wish he didn’t kept the shorts on for 99% of our time together.
