A Dallas area Sam's was $3.16. I went to a nearby Murphy's where it was also $3.16. But being a Walmart+ member I got it for $3.06. I think last week I paid $2.81.

From last week's SNL-not laugh out loud funny. But I thought it was amusing.

Just as an FYI-my understanding-at least for chlamydia and gonorrhea-is that they don't 'resolve.' The symptoms may go away. But you'd still have the bacteria in your throat. As for where to get the test done more quickly-plus to make sure they don't screw up the specimen if they are unfamiliar with the test (the proper swab and transport media need to be used), I'd see if there is #1 A county/govt STD Clinic of some type. #2. In my area Planned Parenthood sees males for STD evaluations. #3. I'd check to see if Quest Diagnostics or LabCorp are in the area.

I don't think my Mom made Hamantaschen, but I remember the wife of the rabbi we had during my formative years made them. I love both the apricot and prune ones. There's a local non-kosher deli/restaurant chain in the area called Cindi's. It's owned by a Vietnamese family. They make giant Hamantaschen. But I think I've missed out on getting them this year. The Hamantaschen are only ok. But their egg bagels are excellent!! I didn't go to a Purim party this year. But I picked up dinner for my Mom and myself. On the way I stopped at Burger King and picked up two crowns for us to wear to celebrate the holiday. That's my Mom on the left. I'm the devastatingly handsome forehead on the right

Possibly it is in your area. I don't know. I was on it years ago and then stopped. I recently re-enrolled when a guy I thought was going to turn into a nice f-bud relationship -or if not that then a platonic friend said he was on it. Dan, the guy, turned out to be a dud-said he was interested. Then pretty much ghosted me. But I've met one guy off of Silver Daddys that I really like. And we've vo-do-de-oh-doughed several times. He's nice to be around outside the bedroom too. So that was a silver lining from the Dan-The-Dud Experience.

Are Canadian Border Guards This Nosy These Days?
+ Gar1eth replied to + Gar1eth's topic in The Lounge
I thought Canadian Customs Officials could make similar demands. Hasn't it been talked about before here on the MC that it may cause trouble to have texts or emails to Canadian escorts on your phone when trying to get across the border into Canada? -

I forgot to mention they questioned the escort privately too. I wish I could remember #1 if I was particularly worried about whether they would find out about us having a paid weekend together and #2 whether it happened both times or just once. In case anyone is interested one of the escorts I took was Brock Hart. The other guy was an escort from San Francisco. I can't remember his age. He was a tall younger thin guy probably mid to late 20's. In my recollection from back then he might have resembled a more handsome PeeWee Herman. He wasn't normally my type. But he had just had a recent photo shoot, and he looked darn good. I think he said he had dieted for several weeks before the shoot. He was either working on an advanced degree in something like psychology/social work/human sexuality-or was planning to. The time that I went to Victoria with the guy from SF, we went on a winery tour. And I ended up buying some type of berry wine. When we were going back to Seattle, whatever computers they use to check with the United States-possibly this was US Customs-but it was in Victoria-were down. They rushed us on the Clipper Ferry. I don't think I had to pay any customs duties on the wine. -
Is it a thing now to have sex with a baseball cap on?
+ Gar1eth replied to peter831's topic in Questions About Hiring
I'd prefer them to actually be masculine and not just look it. -
This was a comedy routine for Zoltan, but it actually hits home for us. i know they have a job to do. But are they really trying to 'out' gay men? One experience I remember back about 12 years ago when I had a career and was living in Tacoma. I had hired an escort for a weekend. I decided we'd go over to Victoria, BC to tour and spend the night. We went on a Clipper Ferry from Seattle to Victoria I remember after arriving Canadian Customs took me into a separate room and asked me questions I don't remember exactly what they asked. Also I did this twice -2 different escorts. I don't remember if they 'interrogated' me both times or only the one time. Now neither of the escorts I went with were Canadian. Both were Americans.

As far as I know, we don't have a science or space section. So I'm leaving this here.

Hot New (Gay) Hockey Series on CRAVE: Heated Rivalry
+ Gar1eth replied to dutchal's topic in TV and Streaming services
I agree. I thought Connor did well in his skits. But the skits just weren't that funny. Even Weekend Update which I normally enjoy wasn't that funny. I realize the attack on Iran is topical. And I may just be an old fuddy-duddy. But people are dying over there. I don't really think it's an appropriate subject for comedy. -
Actually many, many, many of what I'm presuming are fake profiles tell you they are in the military. He supposedly lives near Houston. I live about 250 miles away. IMHO both the content and the phrasing stick out as Total Scam. You are correct, Sir. I don't. I was posting more as a PSA for those, if there are any here on the MC, who aren't as familiar with scammers.

Let's take a vote. "I'm a man who values honesty, trust, and a good heart. I am in active service in the military, I believe in building something real with my partner and growing together over time. Distance doesn't scare me I'm open to long-distance if we're both willing to communicate and get to know each other deeply. I'm looking for commitment, mutual respect, and a healthy, loving relationship."

I'm not sure I'd want him for a friend. But he's hilarious.

Got my second Shingles shot - have no fear, ask me anything!
+ Gar1eth replied to Ali Gator's topic in Men's Health
I need to correct something the OP put. From what I read according to the CDC, you don't need to restart the series if your second Shingles shot is more than 6 months after the first. I accidentally did get three shots. I thought I had had the second one. But I couldn't find the paperwork. And the two places I thought i had received it from said no. So I went for what I thought was the second one. About a month or so later, I happened to be cleaning out an old suitcase and found the paperwork for my second shot. As I recall I didn't feet great the next day, but there was no fever or anything, and I was probably fine 2 days after. -

I've tried using it multiple times lately, and it hasn't worked. I just now tried it on some Dallas Morning News articles. I've used it to see the DMN for years. But the DMN was sold recently. Maybe they've finally updated their website to disallow the use of proxies.

I Wasn't Familiar With Jim Bailey
+ Gar1eth replied to + Gar1eth's topic in TV and Streaming services
This is Charles Pierce. I can see the Bette Davis. But I can also readily envision Lauren Bacall. -

Possibly you'd need to be over 65 as that's what I am. I also had to look up 'OTT' and Charles Pierce.
