The Google Account is under an alias. While that's a probability, I really think for all practical purposes, it's an impossibility. I've had this Google number for a long time-probably over 5 years. And while I'm in Texas now (and so is the lawyer), the Google number is from another state. To think a lawyer with my name had the same out of state phone number over 5 years ago really has to be an impossibility for all practical purposes. No I'm sure that somehow from the text he was able to look-up my first and last name. He then googled that and found a 'wrong' me. I don't think I did anything to compromise my identity. I don't have another phone to test it on currently. But I did text my regular number from the Google voice number, and on my phone it comes up as Google Voice. I'm going to assume (if we posit that I didn't somehow do something to reveal myself) that whatever he did isn't very common at this point as I don't think it's ever happened before -or at least no one before has ever called me on giving them my fake name (well really it's not a fake name-i give them my middle name). The one possible saving grace-there actually is an attorney with my same first and last name. So he apparently thinks that's who I am. I hope it doesn't cause any trouble for the attorney though. Gman

I was texting someone I found online using a Google Voice number. I was once stalked. So I use that and my middle name. I figure if we ever actually meet (and he's not crazy), I can tell him my first name. All of a sudden this guy 'accuses' me of being an attorney- which I'm not. But he uses my actual 1st name and my last name. Now this Google voice is under an alias. I asked him if we had ever talked before. And he said no. I have no idea in heck how this guy found out my name. It's scary as that's the reason I use Google Voice to begin with. Any technology mavens out there have any ideas what's going on? Gman

He's straight. But that's actually better than having a cute/handsome gay therapist. I've had lots of cute/handsome gay therapists in the past-most with partners. And something that always happens when I have them is that I become envious of how much easier it is for them to be gay because they are good looking. It didn't affect my therapeutic relationship with them. It just made me melancholic. With a good-looking straight therapist, I'm much less melancholy. For some reason there's a mistake in this puzzle. "OHM" is spelled backwards. And as far as I can see, there's no warning/mention that it will be backwards in the clues. Gman

That's interesting. How long have you lived in NYC, and did you move from a very small place? I mean I agree once upon a time they may not have been that well-known. I can remember in third grade (1969-1970) a mention was made of them in our Social Studies Book. My teacher, bless her heart, was from the area. I don't know how much travel experience she had. But bagels were probably not a common item in a smaller (but not small) Texas city with a population of about 150,000 (49 years later the population is a little over 250,000). She pronounced them as if the a-sound were like the "a" in apples. Of course being in the know, I had to raise my hand and share my knowledge with the class that the a-sound was long like the "a" in bake. There were probably about 6 of us who were Jewish in my elementary school. There was one other child-a girl-in my grade. But I can't remember if she was in my class or the other third grade class. But she never drew attention to herself about being Jewish at that age as far as I can remember. So I was the only one who would've corrected the teacher. Of course T (my fellow Jew) ended up marrying into a very Orthodox family and has probably been much more observant over the majority of her life than I have been. Gman
