I'm not on Instagram, and don't usually look for guys there. I can say that from my memory of his ads, that for years Ben often had pictures where he was very red in the face and was puffy looking. If you want to do it, go for it. My brother is in his mid-60's. I'm in my late 50's. I started losing my hair in my 20's. I've been totally bald on top for over 20 years. You made a comment that piqued my interest and started me thinking. My libido hasn't been great for awhile. Some of it is probably depression. But there's probably a large component of being almost 59-1/2 and not being in very good shape at all. There also may be some hypogonadism as I'm on prednisone which reduces the production of testosterone. My libido was a lot worse when I was on 60 mg daily for around 8 months. I'm currently at 12.5 mg. I'm going to see the urologist for a routine check up next week. But I'm also going to ask him about checking my testosterone levels to see if I might need some testosterone injections

I'm considerably older than you (68), but for a couple years I was getting a testosterone shot once a month. Last October I had a minor stroke, so my doctor took me off the testosterone. He had read somewhere that there was a concern that testosterone might lead to strokes for some people. Nothing has been proven, yet but he just wanted to be safe.

I actually was on testosterone for around a year 11 years ago. If I remember correctly, my testosterone was at the lower end of normal. But my libido was definitely decreased. My urologist at the time said that even though my testosterone was technically normal it still might be too low for me. I moved about 7 months after that. My new urologist thought that was ridiculous. I was never sure if the injections were doing anything. So I took myself off them

I had my testosterone checked earlier this week. It was in the 150's. I saw the urologist on Friday. He said he considered a normal level to be about 350. So I'm def low. We talked about replacement. He mentioned gel. I said I had heard it didn't work that well. He said it did for some people. He said what worked best were biodentical hormones with some kind of implanted pellet which worked for 6 months at a time. Unfortunately insurance won't pay for the pellets. He said the injections were the worst but easiest way. They are bad because you get a big elevation which then drops off

I remember I often had to nerve myself up to give myself a shot. I was fine once the needle had broken the skin. It was more thinking about it than anything. I actually learned my injection technique by watching female to male transsexuals on YouTub describe how they injected their testosterone.
