  1. I’ve hired in London, Paris, and Amsterdam and my ethnicity wasn’t an issue. The men that I’ve hired have been Irish, English, French, Brazilian, Dutch, Serbian/Venezuelan, and Polish. Happy to chat via PM if you’d like.

  3. They sell a travel version that is airport security compliant.
  4. Met him a couple of times. Very good-looking and charming. https://app.rent.men/LeMasquiat
  5. I’ll keep $20 in mind as an appropriate amount the next time I’m quoted “rate plus tip” for the donation. In March, I was in a Paris pharmacy awaiting a Covid test to head home. For the first 15 minutes, absolute silence. In walks another group of Americans who take no note that no one else in the pharmacy is talking. Another 45 minutes of hearing every detail of their trip, their connecting flights the next day, and the charms of Salt Lake City. An English friend once told me that the English (or at least Londoners) seem to like American accents, which is funny since Americans (myself included) are over the moon for English accents.
  6. I find the payment component awkward overall, so I usually put the provider’s fee in an envelope on my nightstand or hand him an envelope. I usually do not include a tip because, at least in the US, part of the rationale for tipping is to supplement the wages of employees who usually are not making minimum wage. Because the provider has set his rate, tipping isn’t on the table in my view. As others have said, if I have a good time and we seem to mesh, I will make an effort to see the provider regularly. That being said, I have tipped one provider (in Paris) who accepted me for an outcall, but quoted me his incall rate. I did that because we’d had a previous meeting that had blown me away and he had volunteered to accept a lower rate than he normally charged.
  7. I'm afraid not. Planning on being back in London for a few days just after Labor Day myself so I may give him a look-see then.
  8. Headed to NYC in a couple of weeks and am considering potential new friends. This one gentleman caught my eye and I didn't see any discussion of him here. Adamantium - Male Escort - New York City, NY | Rent.Men Has anyone met him? If so, any feedback would be appreciated.
  9. Sometimes. For example, with some providers who advertise on both Hunqz and RM, they will charge more if you mention that you saw their profile on RM versus Hunqz. For example, one provider I saw in Paris a few years ago listed his RM rate at €200 and his Hunqz rate at €150. He’s since aligned them at the RM rate. The rationale as I’ve heard it (from other members on the forum) is that Americans are more likely to use RM whereas Hunqz sees more European use.
  10. If I'm reading his ad correctly, he's only seeing previous clients and his ad definitely reads "Not Available" as of today. If you still want to give it a shot--and haven't tried it already--maybe reach out to him through RM messenger. It looks like he's still checking that.
  11. In context, I took it to mean that he doesn't use Rentmen (or any other platform for that matter) in England.

  14. Just piping in to say that there seem to be a lot of assumptions along the way that may not be warranted. For one, I'm not sure why "no response to a thank you message" means "insulted by the lack of a tip." For starters, was there any discussion or hint that a tip might be desired or was expected? You're also assuming that he's seen your message and that, even if he did, he didn't just forget to respond to it. With one of the providers that I see regularly, I think I once saw him on a Sunday, thanked him by text for coming by, and he responded four or five days later, with a brief note that he'd just spotted the message.
  15. He is very laid back and very sweet.

  17. I think US insurers are required to cover at no cost to patient. https://www.statnews.com/2021/09/02/hold-insurers-accountable-for-covering-hiv-prevention-drugs-at-no-cost-to-patients/
  18. I wonder if this is a US v. Europe thing. Escorts that I've seen in Europe have tended to emphasize at least one day's notice. In the US, there does seem to be more "day of." From the client side, I absolutely prefer to book in advance. From my perspective, that increases the likelihood that I can be seen at preferred time or, if not, that we can reach some sort of mutually agreeable time. I assume that other people have things going on in their lives and messaging them two hours (or even five hours) is asking them to rearrange their lives on short notice. Personally, it's the rare friend that I'll rearrange my plans for on two hours' notice.
  19. I haven't quite done this, but I have tipped in appreciation of a provider providing an excellent time at a lower rate than others and being willing to inconvenience himself for me I saw an escort in Paris last year and had a fantastic time. He charges a lower rate if you come to him. During a more recent trip, I arranged another meeting and, although he wasn't able to host, after I volunteered to host, he said that he said that he would charge the incall rate. True to form, he arrived and showed me a good time. I added an extra amount because I knew that I'd have a good time and because he'd volunteered to take the incall rate for an outcall.
  20. Huh. I spotted him on the street several years back. He is stunning. The same is true for fellow Sean Cody model, Dean.
  21. Does anyone know if using RM Messenger acknowledges your RM privacy settings? In other words, if you have "Do Not Track" checked on RM, can someone still see if you've looked at their profile when you access it through RM Messenger?
  22. I haven’t had the opportunity and, to be honest, not sure that I will. I’ve hired a non-kisser before and while it was fine, it turned out that it was more important to me than I thought.

  25. It’s possible that I’ve missed it, but I don’t think anyone has pointed out one of the reasons for “high” rates in the US is that escorting operates in a legally gray area in the US. If you’re buying something on the black market, you are going to pay more for it than you would on an open market. This absolutely depends on overhead and what type of practice your lawyer has. In NYC, I doubt $350/hr will get you a law school grad at a large firm; it might get you someone who is practicing on his own. In Billings, MT, it’ll probably get you a partner who has his own firm. I’m not sure that an ad is the only overhead in this business. Some potential ones that jump out at me: lube, condoms, PReP, testing, a home (can also be used for incalls), utilities, and travel. There are also some natural limitations to the number of clients that can be seen each day unless Viagra is in play, which adds another expense. And of course, there are other potential life expenses that need to be considered. As to whether $400 is “worth it” or “too much,” that’s subjective. That may depend on what’s important to you at the time you’re thinking about your options. On RM at least, guys push a lot of reasons why you should hire them: height, weight, endowment, sexual prowess, educational background, conversation skills, worldliness, intelligence, physique, personality, etc. If there’s some combination of these reasons that’s worth $400 to the prospective purchaser, then it’s not “too much.” If there isn’t, then it’s “too high.”
