I always text the morning of “Still on for 90min massage at 7:00? I text again as I’m leaving “On my way to you now, see you at 7:00” This has saved me a bunch of times as it gives the masseur an opportunity to tell me what time he’ll actually be ready. I’ve only met with one traveling masseur who had his table with him. He drove up to SF from LA. So if you want to avoid a massage on a bed that will generally eliminate visitors. Don’t give any money upfront. (Worth repeating). Deposits, full fee etc before the session are not a thing. Run from those who ask. The clock starts on a session when you arrive and stops when you’re getting up off the table. Rarely a masseur will short you on time or rush you to release and then claim the session is over. This is not a thing. A good provider doesn’t short you on time, a great provider doesn’t watch the clock. When this happens tip well and let him know you appreciate it.
