I read a statistic that gay men's penis size is half an inch greater than that of the general male population.  I hope that doesn't mess with your calculations too much.

A bit of creative googling suggested there are 1.2 billion men between 18-37 alive today.  if dick size > 8" only occurs in 1% of the population -- that's 12 million men with more than 8".
Estimates of %gay vary wildly, but 1% of 1.2 billion would be 12 million, leading us to conclude 120 thousand dicks > 8"  (or roughly 15-30 miles of dick)...   if you believe 10% of the population is gay (or at least open to suggestion after 3 beers), that provides 1.2 million opportunities (or, conservatively 225 miles of dick).
The math gets a bit harder at this point when trying to figure out what percentage escort, what percentage are top or bottom, and what the odds are to find said escort available on a given night outside major cities...

I grew up on Long Island, home was biking distance to Oyster Bay, summers near wading river... though I fondly remember the beaches, I think I'd prefer here...

I have friends who live or have lived in both Albuquerque and Santa Fe, and twenty years ago we seriously considered retiring to Albuquerque, which is less expensive than Santa Fe. Albuquerque is much larger and less artsy and touristy than Santa Fe. There was a fairly laidback gay bar scene in Albuquerque then, but I know nothing about what it is like now. I did have a younger distant cousin who is straight, who worked for the local newspaper, and she said there was a lot of corruption in the local government--so much so that she soon decamped to Santa Fe (actually to Taos). We looked at housing in Albuquerque with a realtor, and one certainly got more for the buck there. The only people I know now in NM are retirees in Santa Fe, gay and straight, who moved there from the East Coast and wouldn't live anywhere else.
