A good % of FLL tax money comes from bars. They will keep them open. This is vice-versa to what happens most places where a small suburb would ban or heavily restrict bars. Wilton Manors is unique.

Be wary of pre-nupts ! Many courts don't like to enforce them. There's an assumption the marriage would not have gone ahead without one which many courts consider coercion. Hooters is a step below Motel 6. As a matter of fact there's a gigantic Motel 6 by Hooters that is much nicer. Hooters is much like a typical truck-stop motel. Just an oozing of cheapness. IF you must stay on the Strip the only valid reason is the fountains and the view of them is just as good from several hotels, not just Bellagio. (not Paris-obstructions). Planet Hollywood is very cheap and just had a fantastic reno. Give a $20 tip at check in and get a fountain-view room--amazing rooms and view. Be aware that at Strip hotels you and your car will be at a huge distance. Valet parking is a must, even if not required. Also understand cheap hotel rates disappear on weekends when LA moves to LV. $40 rooms at Hard Rock or Planet Hollywood become $400. There's a whole other topic on cheap-on-weekends LV hotels.

I can tell you Hooters is awful.
