  1. I noticed when I got my booster that there a few young guys now in line, maybe "healthcare workers". But even in DC they're about to expand the list a lot. And in some areas there are massive inoculation centers on a first-come-first-served stand in line basis. Maybe one silver lining of the pandemic is it will for a while make "vaccinated daddies" more popular.
  2. In reverse order: 3. I think some jobs still actually require pagers 2. Delivery now is almost everything 1. You don't have Comcast lol
  3. The "proof" would be those CDC cards they give you that can be copied or forged easily (although 2-sided). They're all over the internet. btw- I found you should keep a photo of yours on your cellphone plus if you lose yours or want a duplicate you can get one easily with the information by going to any pharmacy associated with the program that gave yours (Safeway/Albertsons keeps records for mine). Some kid will make pot money snatching a handful of those cards and selling them lol.
  4. God's Own Country If Josh O'Conner were American his dick would have it's own zip code.
  5. Herd immunity probably requires 75% vaccination and for covid, under 18's (20% of the population), are not approved for the vaccine. Add to that the fact almost a third of people do not want the vaccine and herd immunity is less a chance than continual flu-like yearly vaccines to protect the vaccinated against variants that will keep occurring. Guys on Grindr are already advertising "vaccinated".
  6. Pompidou opened in 71 and the Marais was cheap then although relatively not for me in 73. I was living free in a dorm and getting all meals in student cafes around town for 1 franc (25 cents) for those 6 months. My daily spurge was a beer to get in the Bronx. (maybe a sidewalk croque monsieur). Then 76 must have been the last year for the Bronx (maybe early year). I heard from friends the gendarmes started getting more and more lengthy with their closures.
  7. It's possible. Even today Les Halles and next-door the Marais have gay bars, although Le Marais has gotten very expensive. And in those early days gay and criminal were intertwined in a way we don't understand today.
  8. ? Unfortunately no. Rue St Anne was all gay bars and le Sept expensive restaurant in 73 but by 1980 Rue St Anne was only Japanese restaurants ( a small street). I checked back and saw just Japanese cafes. ( I should go back and lay a wreath at #11). The Bronx was especially short-lived (3 years max) as the gendarmes were constantly closing it, sometimes for a day, sometimes for a week, then more and I heard eventually the owners just gave up in maybe 75. France was still pretty homophobic and The Bronx took gay to a whole new level.
  9. There was a front room? lol. I do remember never going far back as with all the sex in the middle I didn't even want to think what the very back was like ikink=wise. Sort of a very early Lab.oratory for the younger crowd to relate.
  10. If you can travel back in time......Paris 1973, the (infamous for huge orgies) Bronx Bar on Rue St. Anne next to posh 7, there was a body-builder young German truck (lorry) driver who would come to the bar (open 11pm to 6am) and put himself in ceiling chains for everyone to share whenever he drove through Paris (once a week?). Dreamy stack of muscles, beautiful but tough face, and nice guy. We had breakfast after once but I couldn't take him back to my dorm and his lorry was parked at a Metro terminus. I was at The Bronx most nights for 6 months that the gendarmes didn't close it. No cellphones then to know when he'd be in town. Hooked up at the bar maybe 20 times in 6 months. Hope he had a good life. ? http://www.hexagonegay.com/region/paris70-SainteAnne.html Sexiest place (for looking), Port Douglas just north of Cairns, Aus, a sugar cane town where there seems to be a law that males have to wear short shorts everywhere that bearly cover the jewels and often give a glimpse of the butt fold. No place on earth is billards such a delightful spectator sport. (It's the Aussie Rules football shorts).
  11. some "copy image address" links work, some don't. nice twitter photos work but disappointed tweets don't open. haven't found any gip or video links that work (other than YouTube).
  12. I was really surprised at mini-series Little Fires Everywhere. with Reese Witherspoon. Even in older/middle age she's got that privileged thing down. Golden Globe nominee. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JWGkX8ClhBI
  13. Yes I read the article and a couple others and spoke with my MD. There are so many things that raise LDL that there's no sense in needlessly adding another big one in the form of cafestol when it's so easy to filter most brewing methods of coffee. A regular Mr Coffee paper filter fits fine on a french press plunger and some may want to switch to pour-over with paper filter or drip. (and I never knew that K-Cups had paper filters inside).
  14. Alert: New thing to worry about: "" Researchers concluded that cafestol is the “most potent cholesterol-elevating compound identified in the human diet.” LINK The biggest problem now is *Cafestol*.......yes, literally coffee cholesterol. It causes the bad LDL. It comes with coffee that's not filtered, especially coffee press coffee and My K Cups. It not only defeats the benefit of drinking black coffee but makes LDL much worse. Keurig K cups have a hidden paper filter inside the pods. I wrap my plunger in my press with a Mr Coffee type filter and there are actually paper inserts for My K Cups. Of course drip makers and pour-overs are ok. So wrap that plunger.
  15. If not those diy pods are available everywhere and online easily. Very cheap. The set I pictured is $3.25 shipped on Wish but Amazon, eBay etc full of them too. Very easy to use. Nespresso diy's are a little harder.
  16. Most Keurig type machines come with a My K-Cup diy which is very easy to fill and use. Usually it and it's adapter are behind a door on side of the machine.I use my 32oz press for 2 or 3 mugs, especially the Illy Forte for the crema, and the My K-Kup for a single, especially Italian or French roast. I do like the pressure brewing and heat of the Keurig type machines for the latter. I have pods for quests if they choose. They're making plenty of compostable pods now too (although none of the SFBays thrill me). I have a couple coffee grinders but have largely given up on them for convenience vs. taste.
  17. https://gay-male-celebs.com/wp-content/uploads/2019-08-05-003135/6.jpg Not sure if this is allowed cold open so you'll have to click the link above. This is what a hot 2020 tv series with really hot sex (and plenty of it) looks like. Dick going in and out of holes all over plunged by the strongest muscle butts and thighs you can imagine with sweat dripping. St8, gay, bi, trans. Brett and Scarlett had more passion in GWTW than the ultra-softcore in Bridgerton. I found the coverage of Georgian sex in the "Harlots" series much more realistic (and Tom Hardy!) A long boring soft-core scene doesn't stack up to a hard-core passionate one. It being longer just makes it more boring, as in "when will the story start again". Aside from Hamilton-type Black casts I also have my doubts about teaching young people that Blacks were well-off in times that were horrible and deadly for them. It's commonplace now and Harlots does it too somewhat. Maybe a disclaimer warning before the show starts would be good.
  18. Wow. Today we vaccinated 2.1 million people and the 7-day rolling average is 1.5M per day.
  19. I think Twitter and OnlyFans are still connected. I sign in to OnlyFans through Twitter. And since it's the main social media that allows porn it is OnlyFansLite. A lot of the guys advertise their "travels" there and I don't think they're sightseeing.
  20. Fun fact: During super bowl sunday the 2nd most searched term on google is often superb owl or super owl. Ornithology's #1 day.
  21. Hard to top Chris Cuomo attacking and starting a fight with a man in public while Cuomo had Covid, was contagious, and was supposed to be quarantined. Bad on so many levels.
  22. Addict alert. Trader Joe's is now selling Illy Forte for $9.99 (cheap). Also Amazon has a 40% off 1st can coupon for subscribe and save taking it as low as $5.50 for 1st can to try on Amazon. Great for drip or press or even diy-cup and for company. Hint of chocolate like Italian Roast in a tiny crema. Also many on Reddit swear by Ikea's Patar coffee which is cheap at $5.40 for 1.1lb. Much like the Illy above but half the cost. I like the Illy just a tad better but blindfolded probably couldn't pick. Maybe it's the can. Drip and Press are the same grind. A 32oz press gives 3 mugs of coffee, a decent start to the day. No shortage of caffine.
  23. Washington Post is out with a front page scare story today headlining those who already had Covid can be re-infected with the variant. We've known those who had regular Covid could be re-infected with regular Covid for a long time so what's the point WaPo except to fill page space with stuff that grabs readers? Even the vaccinated run a chance in single digits at least of contracting Covid. We've known that. The issue is what chance in such re-infections or vaccinated infections there is of serious illness or death. At least in vaccinated infections, it seems to be low. (Not as scary a headline). What passes for "journalism" today would make a lot of high school editors blush. https://www.washingtonpost.com/health/2021/02/05/virus-variant-reinfection-south-africa/ Mask laws need to stay in place for a good while as there's no way to tell who's a possible carrier or not. (Those of us on the coasts may be surprised how few mask-wearers there are in the rest of the country). But those of us over-protecting, ie. wearing masks outdoors, using hand sanitizer, and wearing two masks, etc can probably start easing up a couple or three weeks after a booster shot. There's only so much you can help others by setting an example.
  24. I think that there have been no studies yet because it's assumed for every other single virus not being able to be spread by those immune or vaccinated. They are doing confirmation studies now but I think there's little reason to believe Covid is different. It was a major media concern for a day or two which was quickly shot down by specialists. One thing I find infuriating is that the CDC scheduled a meeting for a month out to approve the J&J vaccine. No rush guys, not like we're in a pandemic or anything.
  25. Benjamin Button. Get him while he's still legal lol.
