  1. She’s an idiot. Antibiotics for a “sore throat” is very 1980’s medicine....at best. Swab for strep. Swab for GC/chlamydia is there is reason for concern. Treat based on the results. You most likely got antibiotics for a viral illness, that would have gotten better in 2-3 days no matter what you did. Any more most specific diagnosis of an STD is a wild guess at best, and quite honestly not fair to the escort. Unless you got a shot in the ass and 4 pills to swallow all at once (and I’m willing to bet $1,000 that you didn’t) then you didn’t get treated for GC/chlamydia pharyngitis. You got “I’ll give you antibiotics if you give me 5 stars on my review“ AKA Shitty Medical Care. Get a new doctor. Stop being a hypochondriac. Don’t blame the escort when you get a cold. Grow up. Class dismissed.
  2. Sometimes a boy likes to feel pretty.
  3. Most homophobes are men. I‘m a homo. Ergo, I don’t like men? Seriously twisted logic at best. And why on God‘s green earth would you let a few assholes ruin your fun? News flash, the world is full of assholes. If you let them control you, then they win. Now get out there and love the men who love you back!
  4. Strange request on your first day posting here.
  5. I don’t know this escort but, whenever you see a price structure like that, you just know hiring him as a bottom is a bad idea. It will not be fun. Trust me.
  6. I can’t hear the words “Spanish Harlem” without immediatly thinking of “Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters”. Love the song. Love the place.
  7. If your looking to the NYTimes to escape a “liberal echo chamber”, I’d suggest you keep looking. In the last 5-10 years, I’d say it’s become exactly that. Any outside or opposing view points are aggressively suppressed and/or attacked. It’s a shame, it was once a great and balanced newspaper that I greatly respected.
  8. I am also sad to hear this. Although I never met him, my impression of him here was that he was one of the “good“ ones. RIP
  9. In the early UFC days I would watch with my boyfriend in bed. It used to freak him out that I would get hard watching the match. Guess there‘s a reason he’s my “ex-“ boyfriend....grin
  10. Truvada is cheaper, has almost a decade of use in PreP, has a statistical increase in bone loss in patients taking it. In one study all the fractures occurred in men without bone loss, so it doesn’t seem to be clinically relevant. Descovy is more expensive, very little long term research, causes more weight gain and increases cholesterol, both of which are generally considered bad for your heart. So hips, heart, wallet,.....pick your poison. I’d pick Truvada and avoid the shinny new apple.
  11. I agree. I‘m not really into straight guys but he was better than 90% of the gay men I’ve hired.
  12. It’s a fun toy, but 95% of the things it does you can do better with other, cheaper, standard cookware. When I see people using it to fry bacon, or boil an egg I just about die laughing at them.
  13. 5K? In Kansas? During a pandemic?
  14. Too many fish in the sea....just move on.
  15. Holy fuck....I’m in love!
  16. He was the ultimate James Bond, but to this child of the 80’s he will always be Juan Sanchez Villa-Lobos Ramirez. “From the dawn of time we came; moving silently down through the centuries, living many secret lives, struggling to reach the time of the Gathering; when the few who remain will battle to the last. No one has ever known we were among you... until now.” Rest in peace
  17. They age.....poorly.
  18. I’d never be able to get past the Judy Garland poster.
  19. Never had anyone complain about a wad of Benjamins.
  20. Condoms never bothered me. I can barely tell the difference. My little head thinks he can tell. My big head knows he can’t.
  21. Jesus are we really that puritanical? Everyone masterbates and I’m pretty sure everyone on that Zoom call has seen a penis before. It was a dumb mistake. Cut the guy some slack.
  22. Morning wood? Daily. Wet dream? Only twice in my life. My first year in college when I had a roommate and didn’t beat off for 6 months. And again at 32 when I ended an serious relationship and didn’t get off for 6 months.
  23. Stop the Lipitor.
  24. Plan an extended visit first. Even before COVID, nothing in SF could compare to NYC. And I can’t imagine it’s gotten any better in the middle of a pandemic.
