This may be The dumbest question but hoping one of you knows the answer and can enlighten me.

I’m trying to find out if there is a way to access the comments from reviews submitted on providers on rentmen. When I’ve submitted a review it provides a field for descriptive comments. But when I look on the reviews section of individual profiles it only displayed the stars rating and the prescribed pull down options. I’d rather see the freeform comments to get an idea what the experience was like.

Am I missing something? Is this a membership level issue?

I saw him in SF recently and had a very positive experience. Thought the massage skills were good. And he’s gorgeous in person.

Very much a YMMV situation. I had a massage from him and thought it was one of the best massages from a non-CMT I've ever had (and I get a lot of massages). Great pressure and works each muscle like he knows what he's doing. Yes, the bed isn't the best location to get a massage but it does allow for easier mutual touch (which he very much seemed to enjoy).

I agree. I just saw him today while he is visiting SF. Found him to be really nice and the massage techniques were good. Yes, it was on a bed, but that’s ok by me. Overall it was an enjoyable experience and I’m glad I didn’t let the negative comments deter me.

I would definitely see him again here for another visit or if I visit Brooklyn in the future.

He used to do magic shows and stripper in Miami a while back. He is from South America, not Italy. He did a mediocre massage. Basically he made it about himself. Encouraged me to touch him and right before doing it he said it would be more money. He is hot but too full of himself.

I know that's sometimes hard in the moment (I don't know if I would have said something or not).

My mind is boggled.

I saw a traveling provider recently and experienced the same thing. Minutes after the session started I noticed that he was only using one hand and not very attentively. Clearly he was texting with the other hand. I gave him the benefit of the doubt thinking it would be brief...it wasn’t. After about 5 minutes of this I did look up and it was confirmed. I told him that if he wasn’t into the massage I would leave...and I started to get up to go. To his credit, he was extremely apologetic, said he was putting it down for good, and offered to discount the session by $50. Reluctantly I stayed, but I’m glad I did. The rest of the session was good and he did not use his phone again.

Gotta speak up sometimes. Although not sure all providers would have responded as gracefully as he did.

@big-n-tall , @sfguy72 -- maybe if several of us pitch in to hire several of them, perhaps we won't feel it in the wallet as much, but in other more pleasurable places... :rolleyes:

 

BTW, my RM buddy list has about 8 of those that will be at SF for Folsom. I think the problem is going to be to get a hold of at least one of them because another client may come along with a better offer that will bump us from their list.. Who knows...
