I’m not sure winning the lottery would change my life THAT much. I’m already comfortable and can get whatever I’d like, within reason. My consumption habits lean conservative. For example, when I travel I usually stay in Airbnbs or small hotels, although I do splurge on business class internationally. I was appalled when US friends convinced me to join them for dinner at Belcanto in Lisbon, a Michelin 2-star, and the bill came to €440 per person with decent wines and mediocre to repulsive small plates. If I won, I’d set up several foundations to fund projects that animate me. As for providers, I’d rent nice apartments in Manhattan, LA and London, successively, and engage the cutest 15 guys in each one. After all, we’re talking close to $800 mm after taxes!
