When I’m at a nice European beach, I wear a pair of Vilebrequin briefs, an indulgence from a few years ago. I also have Speedos, but usually wear boxer trunks that I buy from Nordstrom. One is a Norwegian brand and the other is a pinkish cotton. I’m probably too old for the Speedos, but I’m a workout addict and have a 32” waist, so I guess it works for me. -

In my preppy college years and shortly afterwards I used Royall Bay Rhum after shave, much to the amusement of my friends. I never wore eau de cologne and haven’t used that after shave since my late 20’s. He seems well-adjusted and happy to me. I like his persona. I’ve known a few providers who were raised as Pentecostals, which strikes me as an especially toxic form of low-church Protestantism. Thankfully he escaped from that dystopia.

Has their quality improved? Years ago I stopped buying CK because of the poor quality. I could never properly fold their t-shirts since they lost their shape after the first washing and I found the cotton in their briefs to be of inferior quality. Like Gucci, I used to say you were buying $10 briefs with a $20 logo.

Agree. Problem is that Hunqz has a sub-par UI. User interface. I like the idea of grabbing a Euro number, too. -
Oddly, sometimes younger providers new in the business are a little more anxious than I ever am. I’m good at putting them at ease. I always offer them a drink and we sit on the sofa and have a nice little chat before I suggest “shall we go upstairs?”. That’s generally the optimal approach for me. I think they appreciate my self-confidence and, I must say, affability.
