I’ve never encountered any ageism in this hobby. If one stays in top shape, dresses well, is funny and engaging, and possesses excellent hygiene, one can easily engage into one’s 70’s.

Both of my parents were smokers and suffered the consequences. My father died of lung cancer and my mother from COPD. I always hated their smoking, and the disgusting full ashtrays, which I compulsively emptied. I’m deeply thankful that my lungs haven’t suffered from that exposure.

I met several at the 2019 Palm Springs get together. All fantastic guys. Went on two hikes with @azdr0710 and a few others. I was hosting a favorite young provider for the weekend so I missed some of the unplanned and spontaneous events. I PM several on a regular basis. I’d love to meet a few of the SoCal contributors the next time I’m there.
