I like to buy special providers nice things that they wouldn’t ordinarily buy. I’ve bought them boots, running shoes, lululemon gear, etc. They’re always very sweet and grateful.

Even with Covid?

Only two sets of friends have ever stayed at my summer house while I was in Europe. They never left a trace, and even left a superb bottle of wine.

Some studies suggest that people like me, with type O blood, may have some resistance to Covid. I know two couples where one partner with Type A contracted Covid, thankfully both mild cases with no discernible sequellae, and the other, with Type O+, never got it. Anecdotal at this point, I’m guessing.

I also only ever use the queen bed in the guest room. If guests ever knew what went on in that bed...

I’m super tidy and have pricey bed linens and comforters, so I place two queen size blankets from Kohl’s over the bed and add an oversized beach towel. If a companion enjoys sniffing, one needn’t worry about any of the “cleaner” spilling, which stains like Clorox. Since the blankets are pretty cheap, I just replace them every year. I do like the Mr S product though, and may order one.

With Covid-19, weekends aren’t as fun as they used to be. Two-hour engagements have always been my favorite. Overnights with me are fun since I like a nice session before bed and rarely have more than two rounds. I don’t even mind if the provider sleeps in a separate bed. Even the most fun companions are gratefully seen off right after breakfast.
