    Is that school even accredited? It’s shocking how many colleges and universities there are in the US, most of them mediocre. In my lifetime, all the original pedagogical institutes have become “universities”.

    Although I’ve rarely had any low back issues, I’ve found active release therapy to be effective for other musculoskeletal issues, like foot pain (I run and hike) and shoulder pain (from lifting and biking).

    Private stock! Met him in SoCal 5 years ago when he was 21 and in college. He ran an ad for a few months but now sees me for long weekends 3 or 4 times a year. We’ve become friends but I remain generous.

    Occasionally I’ve been asked to pay for Uber or Lyft. No problem. Sometimes the younger providers don’t have cars so they’ve taken the Mega bus from their city to meet me halfway. Again, it’s pretty cheap and it’s worked for me in medium-sized cities. Hell, the much-discussed Dima even took the bus from Atlanta to meet me in my hotel in Chattanooga for an overnight. The bus certainly wasn’t beneath him.

    I like USDA prime NY strips and ribeyes. I now do them exclusively in cast iron, five minutes on each side with simple salt and pepper, then let them rest in foil for ten minutes. I always bring the steaks to room temperature before cooking and make sure to dry them completely. There’s rarely any gristle or fat, which gets carmelized.
