  1. Still haven’t contracted it, although I don’t know if I’ve had an asymptotic case. I’ve been traveling regularly over the past year. But I appreciate one’s caution based on their health status. Six months pass quickly.
  2. Wow! Happy Birthday to one of my favorite posters! You deserve a lissome companion tonight!
  3. Greece is one on the very few European countries that I’ve still not visited. I too have heard great things about Thessaloniki and, as an avid fan of Balkan history, it’s been on my list. I want to return to Bulgaria and hike the Rhodopes between Greece and Bulgaria. There’s a famous monastery there. I hadn’t thought about Corfu and have added that to my list. Since I’m in the neighborhood, I’ll throw in Albania as well. September sounds good. I’m not interested in Athens, Santorini or Mykonos.
  4. What a refuge our little forum can be!
  5. Although obese, the man is at least wearing a decent sweater and jacket, unlike many of the ones I’ve encountered over the years!
  6. That alone has to be a huge contributor. I lived in OC for 30 years and, before starting my own company based in my neighborhood, I only took jobs that had a commute of less than 15 minutes. I can’t imagine working for a large corporation with grim careerists and a Stasi HR department. Since that job is weighing you down, make time to find a less stressful one as you move into your retirement planning era. After all, it’s the Great Resignation and you may well find an equally remunerative job without 200 reports and also one that has a manageable commute.
  7. Good luck getting that in Nashville!
  8. Couldn’t agree more.
  9. Breathtaking!
  10. With two regulars, and many in the past, overnights and weekends are fantastic. We usually have an extended session in the spare room, then clean up and go to bed. I’m not a cuddler, nor are they. I don’t like to be disturbed while sleeping. We often have sex upon waking, and then some coffee and off for a run or workout before a late breakfast. I did an overnight with a newbie a few weeks ago and had a nice, but not memorable, time. I was eager to be on my way in the morning. Apparently he had a good time (I’m unfailingly polite and chatty) since he’s reached out several times since. But, as I and many others have commented, test drives are critical before committing to an overnight.
  11. Fortunately I have a Toto Washlet! Nothing like plopping down on that heated seat and turning the warm water jet to high.

    Dylannh

I just missed him, but I’m looking forward to his next trip. Very responsive, too.
  13. I’m similarly averse to visiting those sites for the same reasons.
  14. Just enormously enjoyed the candlelit ambiance with a regular provider. Now the afterglow!

    Vintage men

Sobering to think how many of them survived that abattoir.
  16. I had a gorgeous NYC-based regular named “Dylan” around 2004-2005. He moved in with a Wall Street mogul in his senior year of high school. It lasted about 18 months. The financier gave him a $100k severance package and paid the rent for a 3-year lease in an Upper East Side studio. They parted on excellent terms. There’s a smart way to conclude these flings.
  17. I can’t stand bright lights. All switches in my houses have dimmers. For sessions, low light and candles. Klieg lighting destroys the ambiance for me.
  18. In the late 60’s, the FDA released the notorious food pyramid, partly because of growing food inflation, particularly eggs and beef. This insidious campaign against good fats and proteins in favor of carbs (low-fat, poisonous oils and “cholesterol-free”) led to an epidemic of obesity and diabetes. Then we had the big chemical companies introducing awful fertilizers in big ag. Now, it’s a real effort to find healthy foods, especially in the areas of the country you cited. A map of obesity rates underscores this. In the 80’s, colleagues made gentle fun of me for my dinner choices and my hydration program. As for height, immigration from other parts of the world where folks are shorter has lowered the average height in the US. I’m not particularly tall, 5’11, but I tower over men in some of the countries I visit. I imagine @Benjamin_Nicholasmust feel like a giant!
  19. I suspect that most tests will come back negative! I’ll be spending the month of March in Baja. Was there for February and had a blast. It’s a fairly remote area, so no escorts; however, the local 20-somethings are often “up” for a FWB arrangement. Gotta get me tan started!
  20. Like 75% of the time.
  21. You bring up an interesting point. A former friend and business associate became morbidly obese and finally had the bariatric surgery. He then became an alcoholic. After his surgery, I never saw him eat a meal. When out for business meals, he’d pick at the food and then have it boxed. He also developed early onset dementia. The last time I saw him was June 2017, when we had breakfast at the country club. We had occasional calls; but his dementia made them excruciating. He was in and out of rehab and starting spending enormous amounts on vacations, which he cancelled at the last minute with no refund. While in Europe in late Summer of 2019, I heard from his sister that his estranged wife had found him dead. He was 62.
  22. The one on the left please!
  23. Classic! I’d love to know who the old man is.
  24. Dermatology appointments are also difficult to secure, so I’ve been making my appointments a year in advance for years: one in early June and one in early October. Already booked for 2022.
  25. No issues with my dentist yet. I go every three months and have for most my life.
