  1. As a southerner we rarely see/hear/know much about West coast basketball teams with the exception of the Zags. They end up playing late and their PAC 12 network does not help them much. However, I'm impressed! These PAC 12 teams are rock solid. Bill Walton must be on one hell of a bongathon!
  2. My bracket is a dumpster fire! But, absolutely loving the chaos of March madness!
  3. I fell off the wagon during the holidays and have been trying to get back to working out and eating (and drinking) clean for the past couple of weeks. As some of you know, I also rescued two rough collie pups at 8 weeks old that have been equally challenging. In fact, they wear me out. But, they're nearly 4 months old now, house broken and learning new stuff every day. I LOVE them! I'll get my second injection soon and after that I plan on resuming my swimming workouts. I have not been to the gym in over a year. I've just been lifting dumbbells at home and walking in my neighborhood. I need a vacation from Dallas, too!
  4. I like a nooner, but I'll do late afternoon, too.
  5. 1. Playing outside until street lights illuminated 2. Morning game shows when home sick from school 3. My aunt's Playgirl magazines under her bed 4. The old Butterfinger recipe
  6. First real memories: shaking LBJs hand (he was tall and had really had big ears - I had just turned 4, short glimpses of MLKs funeral - somehow the cart they carried his casket on stuck with me, and the downtown Christmas decorations that went across the street during the holidays. Oh, the late 1960s....
  7. This brutal artic blast is almost over, and hopefully Texas' electric grid will recover. Dallas dropped to -2 a couple of nights ago. I live about 30 miles north of Dallas and we dropped to -4. We survived this cold with just a fireplace - no electricity. Texans are not prepared for this type of event. I understand the Houston area is worse than the DFW area. Soon it will be Springtime, and I'll be pool side and drinking a cold one! Fuck sleet! Fuck snow, and Fuck no electricity... and water, too!
  8. LOL! One time when I was a getting a massage from a favored provider a gospel version of Blessed Assurance started playing just as the head of my dick went into his mouth. He quickly changed the music, we finished and laughed about it.
  9. Here we go.... Madison County, Alabama 1960s Robert Redford in the late 70s filming the Electric Cowboy from a distance Phantom of the Opera Alabama and SMU football and basketball Roll Tide and PonyUp! House of a 1000 Corpses (awful, just awful!) Hell NO!
  10. I received a gift of Nike's new jockstraps for Christmas (the black ones with the green line on the band). I've been a compression shorts/tights guy since the 90s. However, I wore one of them to lift yesterday and it was comfy and did its job. It was nothing like the jocks we wore for football in high school in the late 70s and early 80s. They will be really nice when the blast furnace turns back on in Texas this summer. Anyone else tried these jockstraps for working out? Compression shorts get swampy in humidity. But, I don't remember ever seeing anyone sporting a jock in the locker room at my gym in far north Dallas. Are they coming back or still a novelty sex thing?
  11. As a former Texas History (and American History) teacher, my opinion is if you live east of the Brazos River in Texas it's pretty much a southern place (people, unbearable humidity, clay soil, forrests, and bugs). If you live west of the Brazos you're more western. For example, look at how well Texas A & M effortlessly transitioned into the SEC. South Texas and the Panhandle have their own identities as well. It's a big state! I've lived in Alabama, Atlanta, Houston, and Dallas, plus a year in El Paso (wonderful summer and really nice people). The south is a very nice place to live! Just build a high fence and close your blinds at night (and go skinny dipping in secluded places!). By the way, upon retirement I'm headed back to Alabama. Orange Beach is calling me.
  12. I'm not an expert, but it is supposed to be less painful because of the way it sticks to the hair follicle as opposed to the skin. Maybe someone else can explain it fully. As far as the Manscaped trimer, it's okay (a trimmer is a trimmer), but what I really like is their crop preserver ball deodorant - that's some good stuff, and tasty, too!
  13. I generally trim down everything (I use the Manscaped 3.0) except my back (which I keep shaved - especially during the summer when my shirt is off at the pool). Also, I usually shave my balls and hole which I love, but I'm a slacker and need to do it more often (New Years resolution number 69). I'm thinking about getting my neck, back, and shoulders sugared this spring.
  14. I love a foot massage. I get a pedicure every three or four weeks and the gentleman that does my feet provides an excellent foot/calf massage. Both of my "go to" masseurs also spend time on my feet because they know I like it.
  15. @GI Joe Doll I thought exactly the same thing about the pictures. I wonder if he's on RM, too.
  16. Same as Thanksgiving, just three. We're doing Mexican food (enchiladas, green Chile stew, and libations) Christmas eve, and Rib roast on Christmas day, followed by a diet! No hiring until the vaccine - which is cuming.........hummmm!
  17. @BeefyDude your list is simply sound business logic! My main and most important points you made: clean up and maintain a topnotch workspace, practice good communication skills, and avoid upcharging (and well... maybe the masseur needs to be buck naked doing my session...LOL)! Great job sir!
