I had been interested in him for some time, but hadn't had the time to arrange a meeting. Last week I finally "bit the bullet" so to speak and went to contact him - but his RM ad was gone. I did have his number and I texted him to see if he was still taking clients, but I got no response. Now his ad is back on RM, but it's "expired." I wonder what's going on. I would really like to meet him.

He's in Boston now. (Yes, Boston, not some obscure suburb lol). I like the name Kevin lol, so I gave him a look. Aside from the big arms he sure doesn't advertise well. Anyone know if he's better than his ad is?

I assume they're phony. I just block them. Or sometimes, if I'm in a more playful mood, I'll be over-the-top effusive about their interest, and often they just don't know what to do with that.

Hey guys - so I have a rather odd spit-related question. I've been into having guys spit at me for a while now - so amazingly erotic and also so goofy/kinky/rebellious lol. I've never really given much of a thought to health concerns with it - with guys that have I've always said that we swap enough saliva when we make out that I can't imagine direct spitting is any riskier than that. And I do still believe that. Well, I spent some time this past fall with a case of walking pneumonia - no, this was NOT a result of spit play, etc - but it happened. I'm fine now. But as I watch these amazing pics and clips in this thread, I also now have a sort of caveat in my head - should I be doing stuff like that when airborn infections seem particularly rampant? (I did avoid spit play during covid of course). I don't want to lose my passion for the kink, and I still believe that it's probably not any more contagious than anything else, but I've also been a little less willing to seek out any spit play. What do you all think? Is this just an irrational (if understandable) fear after actually getting an awful respiratory illness, or do we think spitting can be riskier than I've always thought?

I'm not so sure. For a while, Friendboy annoyingly sent you to a pay-to-play porn site when you logged in - clearly they needed the help - and then all of a sudden that was gone, thankfully. But then the whole site went down. I tend to think this was more a financial bust than a "moral" one. Also, the one guy I hired off of Friendboy had told me things that led me to believe the site was not managed well...so that could have been part of this too.

I've only hired once off of Friendboy.pro a long time ago - I check the site often just for fun but rarely see many good prospects. But it's been offline for a few days now - does anyone know anything? It could just be some server issue or the owner isn't maintaining the site, etc, but it's always in the back of my mind that sites like this could be forced down, which we know has happened before. One of the few advantages to Friendboy, perhaps, is that providers are allowed to advertise their rates. Rentmen hasn't allowed that for a long time now. But I also tend to trust Friendboy a lot less as a source. Still, not happy that it's offline.

I had a very short text session with him to let him know what I wanted, asking for his rates, etc. He essentially gave one word answers aside from "when we gonna meet?" - I passed. I understand that this is a business, but if I can't get some kind of read on a guy's personality and enthusiasm (and I've had some great pre-meeting talks with escorts that do want to be personable, so I know it's possible to do), it's not worth it to me. I hope he's better in person, but I can't commit to the $ and take the risk that he's not.

You are absolutely right - I'm sorry. So yes, maybe they should have rerecorded. Perhaps they thought the main draw would be Patti, and for that reason alone felt they didn't really need two recordings. (Whereas, for instance, Spider Woman got rerecorded when the cast changed over, but all 3 leads were different, and I suppose they felt differently then. It was also a different time then, and cast recordings are more of an expense than they used to be.) And yes, much as I adored Lenk in The Band's Visit, from all I've heard her Bobbie wasn't nearly as good. I wonder if they felt the stiff upper lip Brits just wouldn't appreciate "Jesus Christ" used in that context. ;-) BTW - it's also interesting that Larry Kert had to wait for London to get recorded in the original production, even though he took over for Dean Jones on Broadway a month after the show opened. And for that recording, they just replaced Jones' tracks with dubs by Kert.

The Broadway cast was the same, wasn't it? There wouldn't have been enough reason to re-record the show with the same cast and merely a different orchestra. (Much as, yes, speaking as a professional musician, it still would have been nice to have a recording with the Broadway pit.)
