There are some masseurs who will solicit tips from a client while in the midst of a massage for 'extras'. Most of us are annoyed by this and it ruins the mood for a relaxing massage. I believe your tip was generous especially after being asked for a tip by the masseur. I hope you left happy.

I can speak for Mike from personal experience. I haven't tried the others. Mike is Asian about 5'8", late 20's, thin but not exactly a twink, nice smooth skin. Don't expect much in the way of conversation but he gave a good massage and aimed to please. Let him know up front the kind of massage that you would like. I was pleased and left satisfied.

You both bring up very valid points. There were some legitimate masseurs who sat on the sidelines in the early COVID days pre-vaccine and sometime thereafter. Then when they resumed business, had to follow safety protocols as well as limit the amount of clients for their safety as well as for their clients' sake. Some masseurs were only seeing their trusted regular clients. These reasons factor in to the increased pricing. However, for the out of towners, I believe a different rationale. They come to the NYC market to make a killing. They think that we will pay $100 above market since they are so special. Well, he did say he's bi, so he may have a thing for Asian females. However, he's on the wrong forum for that.

I take it as a sign that they are either too busy or flaky. The type who will diss you at the last minute before a scheduled session. After a couple of attempts to connect with no response, I move on. Plenty of others to choose from.

It seems to be a well known fact that many people pass close to their birthday. I surely thought Betty would reach her 100th milestone especially that she was in good shape for her age.
