If the massage was nothing to brag about, there should have been some extras for $200. His outcall price is $150, so he probably adds in the price of renting a studio. Did he come to your place?

I found myself in the Chelsea area near Shangrila Spa on 5th Avenue & 28th Street. I thought about getting an unscheduled massage at about 9 PM on a Friday night and they were closed. That was a surprise to me.

I hope you didn't waste your $$$ by giving David any tip after that experience. It was uncalled for. I'm almost thinking that he had you mixed up with someone else, still no excuse. He needs to learn about customer service. There isn't a shortage of Men's Spas in the city, so spend your $$$ elsewhere.

My thought is that once the client requests an 'erotic' massage, Rafa points them toward his Rentmen ad. That's where the line is crossed and we enter a different business model.

No, you are not behind the times at all. Prices have increased since the pandemic. $150 for one hour with a private masseur has become a fair rate, while many are closing in on the $200 mark. If the client leaves with a smile on their face, they may want to add on a bit to a $150 price point as a tip. $200 ($50 tip) is adequate. I like to put that extra $100 on my next massage.

I'm inclined to believe that it was more than a massage. The masseur is very humble to make that comment no matter what went on and I applaud him for it. Seems like a really nice guy.

Oh, I would not like that. I once had a massage with a masseur who has a studio apartment and a small pooch. Well, this little pooch had the loudest bark and kept barking at me from the minute I entered the apartment. He even tried jumping on me when I was naked. I thought he was looking for the beef. I was totally unnerved from the beginning to the end of the hour. The masseur tells me that he could lock him in the bathroom but the devil pooch would only be scratching on the door to get out. So that's my problem? The purpose of a massage is to relax but that was not the case for me that day. I vowed never to return. One and done!
