I agree with @Benjamin_Nicholas ... Chivalry is not only a timeless ritual. It is a qualitative nod to the arete of a man. Communication is key to any successful encounter, whether it be text, gesture, hospitality. It makes people feel appreciated. Offering a beverage to your guest upon arrival or a warm towel or shower at the end of your meeting goes a long way. After all, being a gentleman improves the libido.
